- The proposed legislation, if passed, would require anyone convicted of impaired driving to install an ignition interlock device in their vehicle.
Those convicted on first and second-time alcohol and drug-related offences would see increased license suspensions and mandatory remedial education introduced, while those convicted of impaired driving causing death would be handed a lifetime license ban under the proposed changes.

parking lots of pubs and bars are full of cars drivers inside pubs and bars what are they doing ? why not check every driver before who gets behind wheel. to drive off ? plus there is no method in law to make sure off duty officers who goes to pubs and bars are letting each other go once pulled over by fellow cop.

It's about time. A concentrated, penalty-heavy system of enforcement and justice is required.

The policing of our roads should be ramped up and offer no tolerance for the high volume of ill behaved drivers.
Increased penalties, fines, and suspensions should be enacted and enforced. And people receiving their licenses
through corrupt means, many who are not even citizens should charged be and deported.
