I grew up as Armenian in Lebanon and have been residing in the U.S. for the past 18 years. Before that lived in few other places in the world. Similar to other Armenians. Listening to this music 3 o’clock in the morning can only make me think of my parents, family, and fellow Armenians who have endured a lot. This is The type of music that transcends the soul. All I can say is that I am proud Armenian and will forever advocate the cause of my people irrespective of where I live.

Finding out about the existence of the duduk is probably one of the best things that ever happened to me in my life regarding music. I somehow love that feeling of quiet sorrow, and hollowness that some music, including this video gives me (sounds almost masochistic when put into words, but this helps so much with studying, reading, meditation etc.) I feel really cleansed after every hour of listening to this and just mentally free.
The feeling of this video also made me decide to travel through Armenia this summer. What a fascinating culture, wishing everyone who listens to this piece of beauty a great life!

I am ennamored in Armenian duduk music, so deeply that I have been thinking for a long time about visiting Armenia and eventually listening duduk concert live. I found this music by chance, seeking some information on Armenia and Armenian people.
There are Armenian proverb on listening skill which i very like: - "Men have three ears: one on the left of the head, one on the right of the head, and one in the heart.”
Thank you Armenians for deep reflexive and invaluable duduk music. I spent hours and hours listening it since i learn for it.
I am so sorry for genocide which happen to you during WW1. Especially taking in consideration that you took care about Turkish bussiness, 3-4 centuries ago, because you have been so reflexive and skilled in bussiness. Until Turks were furious warriors and committed many crimes against my country. One of them was taking little boys from their crying and helpless mothers, and made them soldiers who had nothing except weapon, armour and eventually horse. Loosing their true identity they were Sultans right hand conguering countries after countries.
    Nice regards from Croatia

Ak85 , stop always hear the voice of one side and close your ears to the other side pains and tears , stop being precudice , what about Turkish peoples tears and pain ? at the collapse of Ottoman , Armenians livin in Turkey peacefully with their Turkish neighbours , with the provocation of Russians , to get land from Ottoman , became gangs and attacked to the Turkish villagers , even to their Turkish neighbours , they tortured and killed Turks , they even killed babies , you can find in Turkey many Turkish grandmothers and grandfathers iwho can tell you about Armenian persecution , torture to Turks , when Armenians attacked and killed Turks , Ottoman decided to send them out of Anatolia in order to stop massacre of Turks , on the road some attack happened to Armanins but this can not be called genocide , it is very exagerrated , if you talk about Armenian massacre , so you must also talk about Spanish massacre to Latins in Latin America , Englis did to Indians , French did to Algerians , Italy did to Libya , America did to Indians , and this list goes on , also land of Azerbaijan Karabagh was occupied by Armenians and Armenians did masscre to Azerbaijan Turks in 1992 , they even tortured and killed the babies , check it in google , you will see the videos , Armenians said we killed Azerbaijan Turks as they have got Turkish blood , this is what Armeian charecter is , so stop always accusing Turks , be unbiased , be equal to all sides before accusing a nation.

I’ve been drawn to this instrument since I first heard it played on an old folk music record, as a young girl in California, in the 1980s. The ancient power of its mystical beauty has never left my soul. Over the years, my love for Armenian culture has only gotten stronger. Such a beautiful country, such beautiful people. Life eternal.
