Great job guys. Love your videos. Question; Do The adults only and the “Family “resort have the same restaurants ?.
Hi, Frank :) the restaurants are the same for both hotels except for one called PEZ DAMA which is exclusive for guests of the El Beso adults only hotel. We did notice that El Beso guests (whom wear a different bracelet) had preference while being seated at the restaurants; this might have been perception only though...
Best bargain resort for the quality, they also have upgraded service and amenities since the date you have gone.
We'll gladly visit again because the hotel had great potential!
How is the beach is there alot of seaweed

Hola, Artem :) we include the price we paid in the "review" videos of each hotel, since this is a tour we leave that info out. We paid $348 for one night (2 people) at the Dreams Onyx and $186 per night (2 people) at the Ocean El Faro (we took advantage of a 20% Spring discount 🙂 Thanks for your continued support!!

Very nice detailed video. If you're staying at family side of elfaro can you still eat lunch buffet at the adult only buffet restaurant?
Hi, Mamoona 🙂 no you can’t. The adults only side is also another tier in price so only guests staying at El Beso side can use those facilities. I hope this helps!

Do you have to make reservations for the a la carte restaurants and if so how far in advance do they let you?
Hola, Lani 🙂 yes, the a la carte restaurants require reservations in guest services (some staff members might suggest using the app to make reservations but this is inaccurate information). I believe you can only reserve for same day dining.

They didn’t do beach parties during our 3 nights stay

Hola, Maria 🙂 no, you can’t use El Beso facilities as a regular guest in Ocean El Faro, you have to be an El Beso guest

We're actually going to RIU Republica this Friday and will drop a video on Sunday 28th (August) 😀 We've been before, and we liked it; let's see if it's still good! We haven't been to Bavaro Princess yet, but between the Ocean el Faro and Riu Republica, definitely the RIU...
En este hotel nos sacaron nuestro dinero de la caja fuerte, ojo, de la caja fuerte y no nos quisieron responder - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Here, in this hotel an employee stole our money from the safety box. Please, take care of your belongings & your money, the hotel didnt answer, Is not safe.

One of the worst resorts I’ve been to. Food is terrible! Service is slow! Reviews are fake or purchased through Google.
We didn't like our experience there either. They have to improve many things to make it worth the while! Hopefully they'll listen...
Totally agree with you. We just got back from there and was the worst trip we've ever had. Every other traveller we talked to on our trip agreed. It's bad.

@@daigorowolf2136 It's SO bad I couldn't believe it. Like imagine not having clean towels for 5 days!! And getting attitude by all staff when you express concerns with that. Or there not being enough pool chairs that you have to lay in the grass in the hot sun all day just to try to enjoy your Christmas vacation. We spent good money to have a special Christmas and to be honest we're just so glad that it's over.. it's kinda sad. There are so many problems with this resort I could go on forever. This was our first time having a bad experience at any resort. Previously I'd read bad reviews on destinations and think the reviewer was just being overly sensitive to small details but now I understand how someone can get a little heated about being wronged by a resort and voicing their opinions about it online. If you're reading this - I would strongly urge that you look elsewhere.. even if you might be getting a good deal.
@@rmarques1 yes! I would definitely avoid Ocean El Faro at all costs. For cheaper I went to Catalonia Grand Mujeres in Cancun. And the difference is literally day and night
