- Maybe many people would call my life boring. But I couldn't be happier with my "dull", ordinary life!
I find joy in small things, like surprising my boyfriend with a sweet treat after work, watch tv, talk about our day, play with my dog, and going for city walks early Saturday morning.
Not being productive all the time is OK. Just existing and enjoying the little things is nice.

One of the things I really like about your vlog is that it shows simple slow living in the city with no special visual or any other effects. It's raw. It's honest. It's about life as it is. It's about all of us. Or, at least, many of us. Most of other similar vlogs usually feature living a simple, slow and "authentic" life somewhere deep in the countryside in a nice cottage with a flower field outside of it and a lot of cute decorations inside; the sun shining brightly, the sky all painted perfect blue, birds chirping merrily and butterflies fluttering around. My issue with this kind of vlogs is that they seem somewhat unrealistic to me. A fantasy. A dream. Normally, they are very carefully staged and meticulously polished. And while there is absolutely nothing wrong with this, whenever I happen to watch such a video, I often feel uncomfortable and hesitant as if I take one further step and I am lured into a trap. But, of course, it's just my perspective, and others don't have to agree with it. Cheers!

I really appreciate your thoughtful comment. I must admit I have had a fantasy about living in a beautiful cottage in the countryside and have a quiet (photogentic) life. But in reality, that would never work for me because I need my job in the city to survive. Also, the city can be a nice place even if it’s noisy and crowded at times.
So I just try to do document my life as honestly and simply as I can without any fancy effects or expensive equipment, hoping that my short videos will encourage someone out there to see the beauty of this ordinary and «boring» city life. And I guess my hope is that people can appreciate their own surroundings, even if it’s not glamorous and spectacular.
I know just what you mean! I look around my little house and think - I should do that, or that. Luckily, it soon passes. I have 7 kitties so a neat, tidy little house is impossible xx

I embrace simple slow city living, and find it to be really satisfying. A quiet night at home, making an extra effort to cook a nice dinner, maybe inspired by Jamie Oliver, with a glass of red, can really light up my life. Keeping an open mind, and cultivating imagination and being able to learn new things is good too. There are nice parks to visit and gardens to access nature. Sure, I like to travel now and then, but I don't want to be hostage to a bucket list. Tx for your channel. That little dog seems such a great little character.

My life was once simple and happy. But I lost my dog suddenly to leukemia. And now life is emotionally and mentally complicated and sad. But I have hope and faith.

I lost my beloved dog Mia last January at 15 yrs young . Life is emotionally challenging right now . For someone who absolutely adore animals , and dogs specifically, not having her around me it’s devastating. Thank the universe for dogs 🐶

We seem to share a similar outlook in life. I wish more people could see that you don’t need a lot to be happy. In my opinion, chasing fame, endless hunt for expensive things, just make people unhappy in the long run.

I really enjoyed seeing the historical and modern architecture featured in this video - Oslo looks like a beautiful, clean city. There also appears to be plenty of parkland/open spaces for enjoying walks in a much more natural setting. Mochi clearly has a wonderful time on her walks and she’s growing into a well built little girl.
I had not seen a fridge turntable before - what a great idea - you are no doubt feeling well pleased with having cleaned and reorganised your fridge.
I really love it when Mochi cocks her head from side to side like that. It’s so cute!
And yes, Oslo has a lot of parks and green spaces. It’s both green and urban which I love. That being said, it is definitely not as beautiful as my home town Bergen which you were lucky to visit 🥰
There is a friendly rivalry between the cities as Bergen used to be the capital, but is now forever the number two city🥹

I usually let Mochi smell everything when I come back from the grocery shop. It makes her happy and as you say, dogs explore the world with their nose❤️🐶
I love it that when you go out for a walk you can enjoy the piece and quiet. In Greece there are people and traffic everywhere. It’s exhausting. Although the weather is nice, you can’t enjoy it with so much noise. 😢

So nice you have a dog too! Mochi is mostly calm now, but untill she was a year old, she was hyper! Just normal puppy behavior, but we were exhausted all the time 😅

Mochi is a Parson Russell terrier, almost the same as Jack Russell, but with longer legs😀 How about your dog?

You’ve motivated me to clean out my fridge - haven’t touched it in three years either! I’ve been happier since I sold my suburban house (with all the work it took to keep it in top notch shape) and moved to a studio apartment in the heart of the city. For me, the key is to make a living place that is filled with love, happiness and relaxation. You said something like, the best part of the day was returning home. It seems I live a life very similar to yours, but in Gothenburg, Sweden (for non-Scandinavians) I agree with another comment further down, most slow life videos portray a life in a rural area in and around impossibly charming and stylish houses and cottages with people that either work from home or can afford a very laidback lifestyle. To me slow living is all in the mindset. And yeah, I'm insanely jealous of your wonderful dog😍
Hello to you in Gøteborg. We are almost neighbors! I agree 100% with what you write: Slow living is all in the mindset. Oslo can be busy and hectic, but it is actually a choice not to partake in that to a certain degree. For me, that means enjoying myself at home a lot.

I love the quiet. Mochi definitely needs a little sweater when going out in the snow. He's so little and sweet-he deserves a sweater! My dog is Cinderella, and she's about 50 lbs-the smallest dog I have had since becoming an adult. My last two dogs, a labrador, and a rottweiler mix, were 100 and 125 pounds, respectively. But I love your little dog. She's so sweet! Thank you for sharing.
