Growing up with famous parents has some definite benefits, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some strict rules these famous children have to follow. Jennifer Garner admits that she finds herself saying “no” a lot, and her children have even compared her to a dragon! Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are all about maintaining a sense of normalcy in their household, no matter how popular they get. Drew Barrymore had a difficult childhood herself so she’s determined to be tough but fair with her own daughters. . . unless they want to get into show business! Jennifer Lopez might spoil her twins but not when it comes to technology. Kylie Jenner has a makeup empire but she’s a lot more cautious when it comes to Stormi Webster using the stuff. Megan Fox is another mom who’s made it her mission to limit technology, and it’s getting tougher to do! Courtney Cox admits she can be a bit of a stage mom sometimes, and Cardi B has a firm stance on sleepovers for her daughter Kulture. Just because these children go to school in designer duds doesn’t mean they don’t have to stay in line.

My Mom has the no sleeping over rule too but it's not applied the same way. She's fine with sleep overs in our house but not fine with me sleeping over in someone else's house. She applies this rule on me and my siblings because her distant cousin got raped at a friend's sleepover by someone's brother.

I find it funny you call it strict parenting when in reality it’s just parents with good heads on their shoulders trying to make sure their kids grow up to be humble, smart and successful. It’s not really strict it’s decent parenting

I never had sleepovers I’m still not able to have any unless it’s with a friend who’s parents are friends with my parents.
My mom was way to strict on me I always felt like I never had friends I wasn’t allowed to go anywhere with friends because my mom was way to afraid of something happening to me I get she wanted me safe I lost a lot of friends because of it I don’t even have friends that much. I am 27 I am a single mom I do have rules but not way to over the top I do limit electronics and I always tell my daughter to respect others when she is with them and I always show my daughter good manners.
Most of the rules are good parenting rules, tho I think kids should be allowed to use the Internet. But I think the rest are good!

Kids on the internet without supervision is probably the worst idea on Earth. Not only can they access adult-content accidentally, but there's also a lot of predators that can prey on them. You should be careful.

DIN0 BIT Well, the way I see it is even if you try to supervise them a lot, you can not watch over them 24/7 and they’ll find out what you’re hiding from them at some point.
As I got older I’m glad my mom didn’t allow me to spend the night during sleepovers. I was allowed to go but turned into Cinderella at midnight. My grandmother also took away the toaster due to my cousin sticking a fork in it so she took it away. Some of these things may seem extreme however they all are doing what they feel is best for their children. For me parenting a non biological child has been quite a ride but I wouldn’t change it for anything. I’m semi quite relax but for me it works

When I was a kid my sister, my brother, and I would probably get two presents each from Santa (never anything expensive at all) plus he'd fill our stockings with small stuff; an apple, an orange, some nuts (walnuts and Brazilian nuts), Christmas candy, and some sort of small toy. My Mom was great with the lay-away thing during the year. Did y'all leave some cookies on a plate for Santa? We'd put out cookies and a glass of milk for Santa and we'd set out an apple for him to give to a reindeer (that apple for the reindeer probably ended up being put in one of our own stockings 😃). I always enjoy hearing about other people's Christmases when they were kids. You take care. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Riya Kale, me and my brothers get a full stocking (filled by Santa) and 2 presents (from our parents), then we have breakfast, then we open presents from each family member and also a big expensive type gift from Santa! It’s a good system because then your tummy is full when your opening your presents

Ι love the no internet rule but it shouldn't feel like a rule, more like a standard behavior. If it feels like it's strictly prohibited, the kids will probably overindulge in it once they aren't under their parents' control.

Microwaves have alot of safety features that stop radiation from just wafting around. It also doesnt suck nutrients out of your food, any more than any other form of cooking. There are also non-plastic microwave dishes that dont become hot to the touch.
