Yes, I’m white & had a hysterectomy at 40 when I fell from single digit anemia caused by fibroids … had suffered since my twenties … doctors dismissed it all along as I suffered. Glad we’re now talking about it!

Why did you mix the subject of Fibroids with the topic of sexuality?
You went from stating the demographic that is affected the most to then featuring a masculine presenting Blk woman.
Let’s address each group separately because the each have their own unique experiences which deserve their individual coverage.
I agree I am a white woman married have had fibroids for over 20 years fortunately I did not have issues with mine still have it and I'm now past menstrual cycling but my doctor checks it every year. I did have anemia when I was younger and took iron pills for it. My gyn said as long as it doesn't bother me to leave it alone. Anna In Ohio
