I think the events that happened at the end of season 1 and leading into season 2 really changed jj. I feel like in season 1, we saw a side of JJ where he was the instigator, the one doing something completely outrageous and he did mention at one point when Pope and Kie were arguing that "if I'm the one mediating, we've hit rock bottom" In season 2, although he is still ballsy as hell, i feel like JJ has become the dad of the group and has become more of a cautious character while at the same time being bad ass. He's had more of a protective super hero vibe to him in season 2 which i think could have been reflected due to at one point, he did think that John B & Sarah were gone.
“I bet your bottom dollar that season three will happen” I MEAN IT CANT NOT HAPPEN BECAUSE THE ENDING OF THAT SEASON HOLY SHIT. I NEED SEASON 3 to really explain to me what the hell I just watched because has John bs dad really been alive this entire fucking time and he’s just been fucking chilling in the Barbados while his son has been dealing with being wanted for murder, getting married to Sarah, almost getting killed multiple times
i remember back when s1 aired and everyone went crazy over jiara, maddie and rudy would talk abt how they would like to see jiara happening and specifically rudy saying that they're "endgame". now in interviews, they come off as though jiara happening in further seasons would be bad or odd?? they just seem so far from the idea now and it makes me think that this has to do with where their friendship stands irl. makes me really sad :/
Not sure why they're trying to be so discreet about everything the writing is showing the opposite to what they're saying.
Madison and Rudy are still friend's though just not as close as they use to be.
Nah I think it has to do with the hate that their real life partners get. Like people really hate on Elaine and Mariah for being with Rudy and Maddie. I feel like this had a big impact in this situation.
