I said this over the offseason as well: The very first primetime loss from Dallas (I'm guessing October 6th against the Steelers) and the shadow of Belichick will be over the rest of the season, and he yet will *never* coach in Dallas.

Belicek will be coaching in NY in 2025
Again last year they didn't lose at home, so the expectations should be in the playoffs and winning 2 playoff games.
anytime Cee Dee or his agent asks for more, Jones should just play that clip of that 3rd down drop when they still had a chance.

10-7 would be the best case scenario for the Cowboys. If, at the end of the season, they're bellow 500, Mike McCarthy will know the famous "Black Monday" early january 2025.

Looking at their schedule screams 10 and 7 to me.
How hot will McCarthy's seat be? To answer that, all you have to do is remember how every single one of us GASPED IN ASTONISHMENT when he wasn't fired at the end of last year's fiasco of a season.
They might be under .500 right after the bye week WHEN they lose to the 49ers. I think they lose at Cleveland, at Pittsburg and think they'll lose one to either to the Ravens or Lions at home, so going 3-3 into the bye and then getting smoked as usual against the Niners to put them at 3-4. At best they go 4-3 into the bye and are at .500 after the 49ers game.
Could Kirk Cousins pull it off in the battle of the epic stat padders in Dak vs Kirk (at home)? If so they could go two games under .500 in a worst case scenario and be 3-5. McCarthy's seat would be scorching hot at that point.
Ravens OR Lions? LOL--you obviously meant after their losses to the Ravens AND Lions.
If the Cowboys are one and done in the playoffs... BB will be coaching the Cowboys in 2025 and Dak will be the QB. And Parsons will sign a one year deal to stay for 2025.

That's kinda what I thought, but I also know this: The icy hand of the Reaper is on the shoulder of Jerry Jones, whose only ambition left in life is to win ONE MORE SUPER BOWL. There's a chance that he'll say, "I give up! Let Bill do whatever he can."
