This is next level, Daron Malakian is truly a genius. He keeps reinventing himself and yet staying true to himself, it is very hard to describe since english is not my native tongue. All that is important is, that this man is a genius.
Tracks such as this and "Lives" exceed most of SOAD's material.

I didn't want to compare this with SOAD material but this would've fit like a glove in an album like Hypnotize or Mezmerize.
Joao Sousa, I read somewhere that some tracks on dictator may have been intended for a new system album that was scrapped when the band decided not to produce a album last year. Wouldn’t surprise me if this track was one of the ideas. Daron is an amazing song writer. His collaboration with linkin park before Chester passed was incredible and each album he has worked on or produced is pure gold in my opinion.

Bruh you're not a real Soad fan, When they split up I kept following their news listened to every album when it was released
I listened to SOAD in 2008, a few songs, very superficially, not knowing anything about the band, then somehow I noticed Serj Tankian as a solo artist so I had a kind of "ahha, SOAD lead singer" moment. I liked his music but noticed something was missing. Over the years, only Soldier Side and Lonely Day remained hanging around in my playlist. It was this year when I finally learned SOAD actually had two equal singers and the other is Daron Malakian and that's actually the voice that attracted me to the band in the first place. Imagine being that ignorant that you'd love two particular songs for years without even knowing who sings them.🤦♀ And all of a sudden I learned he actually has another band and released two excellent albums.

Woah can’t get enough of this wow. Darren is a genius, Scars on Broadway projects are underrated as fuck. He doesn’t hold back either, pure and raw as per usual.
I hate that SOB gets less attention just because "it is not SOAD".. "Dictator" is more than worthy of being the successor of "Hypnotize", just because the songs doesn't have Serj on them doesn't mean the soul of SOAD ain't there.. Daron have clearly been the main shaper of SOADs sound in the past.
