Merci d'avoir pris le temps de couvrir le concert de Rennes. A mon avis, en terme de qualité d'image et de son c'est le meilleur qui ait été mis en ligne.
Merci également d'être allé plus loin que dans la simple écoute et d'aller rechercher les textes des chansons et d'essayer de comprendre la démarche de ces trois jeunes femmes.
Venant d'un région reculée d'Indonésie elles ont effectivement eu des débuts difficiles vis à vis de certains extrémistes religieux qui considèrent qu'elles ne devait pas jouer ce genre de musique.Mais, d'après ce que j'ai compris, ce n'est absolument pas une généralité en Indonésie et les gens sont plutôt tolérants, le port du hijab n'étant pas une obligation. Ces trois artistes le portent de manière volontaire parce qu'elles sont croyantes et que cela fait partie de leur tradition. Rien à voir avec un quelconque extrémisme en ce qui les concerne.
Tous leurs morceaux originaux, comme vous avez pu vous en rendre compte, traitent de sujets sociétaux dans lesquels elles sont très engagées.
Leurs sources d'inspiration sont Rage Against The Machine , Red Hot Chili Paper, Slipknot... entre autre.
Je m'arrête ici pour l'instant.
Elles viennent de sortir leur premier album "Retas" et, comme vous l'avez dit, vont entamer leur première tournée aux USA.

VOB has repeatedly brought the good side of loud music to the world... to make it more known to the general public and legendary bands that stopped their careers became enthusiastic again when their songs were covered by VOB time to support VOV... not sneer and smirk... through their music they protest and shout (pms and public property notes, god allow me to play music, enemy of eath is you etc). through loud music, neat, cool and full of skills, talents and creations, they bring and make Indonesia smell good in the eyes of the world... don't forget that... for the people...+62... don't shake too much and it will trigger loud and noisy... ( that's actually satanic music)... Dangdud music comes from India and is synonymous with eroticism and the aura of Kamasutra... moreover, it is mixed with Javanese "NGEBAN" koplo... or disco night club remix music... which is synonymous with the immorality of adultery, alcohol and drugs. VOB is a pioneer, a motivator and a warrior, not a ronggeng.... or an erotic dancer plus-plus, remember that...!!!

You say not confident and shy BUT what I have always noticed about VOB is they are so skilled they can do with their eyes closed. I have even watched a video of the bassist, Widi , sitting in front of stove cooking herself something while she played and practiced a song. Did like it was a mere after thought she is so good!🙃
