How awesome is Con O’Neill!?! The character of Izzy could easily be seen as an utter twat. Con has always given us such a nuanced performance, even if Izzy isn’t able to see that he’s in love with Ed, we always have. Con gave that to us. What a legend.

I love this. So much. This is a perfect portrayal of their relationship and I adore the editing! Especially the little reoccurring details - it’s not mindlessly edited, it tells a coherent story and compares scenes - especially a flood example would be at the end with doggy heaven, and Izzy’s new perspective on what that means.
And also, the matching to the lyrics is phenomenal, you’re adding another layer of depth to an already incredibly complex relationship and summarising it all at the same time.
I love it. Keep up the amazing, jaw dropping work!

Okay. Wow. I need you to know that I've been thinking about this video for several days straight. The music choice, the editing - it's not even just editing, it's storytelling. The ending with the "I could never do that" actually made me cry and the "hurt people hurt people" part was so well edited. And then the "Above all else is loyalty to your captain" montage, WOW. I don't even feel super passionate about this ship but this video is making me insane so thanks

This really shows just how toxic the relationship between Izzy and Ed has always been. It's never been one of love and companionship, regardless of much either of them may have wanted it to be (mainly Izzy). They both fucked up in many terrible ways, and Izzy was always at the brunt of it. Goddamn I despised his character in season 1, but season 2 has built on that foundation that was hinted at before. Their relationship is complicated and incredibly messy. Amazing vid
