Quite honestly, any of top 5 QBs in this Draft get to the Vikings, set up to succeed. Got Jefferson, Addison, Hockenson to throw to. Solid OL. they have 2 1st round picks, I don't see the need to move up, if they get Penix, Nix, or McCarthy, they should be good.
Drake May or JJ McCarthy are the best fits to compete in That division. MIN should focus on spots 7-11... Don't overthink this

It's amazing to me how I think the only thing really pulling Penix down is his past injuries? He has been injury free the past 2 years at Washington & played amazing. So if not for the injury concerns, would Penix be a top 3 pick??? I would think Penix would be perfect for the Vikings. I would gladly trade away Bryce Young & replace him with Penix. I kept saying it was a dumb decision to trade up to get Young, but yet Panthers channel laughed me off. Bc face it, look at this draft, there is a reason the #1 overall pick usually isn't traded away. & look at teams that have traded up to top 3 to get a QB, how has that worked out??? Goff? Wentz? Jaden Daniels with will be the best quarterback in the draft hands-down. Caleb Williams will be good for the Bears because of the players surrounding him, but will not be better. McCarthy will be the third best followed by Maye.

Daniel's has a 10/1 td/int rate. One of the most prolific stats in the history of football. Mccarthy is half as good statistically

He’s actually not the ideal quarterback for Minnesota. Orlovsky is wrong as usual. KOC is looking for a quarterback that can make all of the throws in tight windows, and can absorb a playbook. I’m not saying that Jayden Daniels can’t do that, but it’s obvious he is looking at Drake May or JJ McCarthy. Personally, I don’t want to see Jayden Daniels drafted by the Vikings. He seems like he could very easily get happy feet like Justin Fields, and then that’s the only thing that he wants to do is run.
How is Orlovsky a former QB and he doesn't realize that Maye fits the team better than Daniels? Daniels would still be awesome though

Nah I kinda agree with him & I want the Vikings to trade up for him at #5. But if you’re a bottom team you should focus on having great O-Line or defense. Something you can lean on as a team. Caleb is gonna be in a great spot. Washington has some really good athletes. The patriots should definitely trade down for assets & get some more identity. But that’s not how teams do things.

I dont think the Vikings should continue to move up if they want to draft JJ 11th is fine to draft him or even in the 20's hes really just a slightly better version of Mac n Kenny more athletic than them high floor low ceiling hed be like Kirk for real if they want better they should go for Maye , Daniel's or Penix or if they really wanna take a swing fir a high ceiling later Milton but if they want 1st round Maye , Penix n Daniel's their best bet although they could draft Penix probably in the 20's since a lot of teams probably afraid of his injury history although we do know that the louder teams are on a player this early probably a destruction or smoke screen especially if their looking to move up into the Top 3 or 4.

Jayden is an exciting quarterback with tons of talent, but he had one of the best receiver corps in college. Maye is a better choice long-term because he was winning with less and has the intangibles and style play of Mahomes and it shows. Give me a quarterback with the will to win over flash and stats.
