I bought a backpack cooler for 40 bucks on amazon. I can't imagine needing more than what it offers. the cooler part adds some padding and i can throw one frozen plastic thing to keep them cool in my car while I'm at work. It has a top pocket where I throw my small things like overgrips, first aid kit, etc and a zipper pocket on top for my phone, keys, and wallet. I throw 3 balls in each of the water bottle holders on the side. It has a bungee cord in the front where I can throw my jacket in the winter for easy access. The downside is I have to throw my paddles in the compartment to the side, but it's a small complaint for a killer deal on a bag.

For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
I always try to think of purchases in terms of "dollars per usage/time" instead of the upfront cost. All else being equal, something that lasts twice as long is worth twice as much. But if that thing is also way more convenient/comfortable/stylish/whatever, then it becomes a no-brainer. So yeah, I bought the KTCH bag, it's incredibly convenient and I'll be able to use it dang near the rest of my life, that's (hopefully) well under $10 per year. I'd rather have this than have another $50 bag every 5 years. (if you're lucky enough for a bag that cheap to last that long). Also +1 on the Peak Design stuff it pairs super well, and super flexible to use when traveling or attach a strap and use it as a lightweight day-bag when traveling or hiking or at an amusement park or something.
With the review, everyone knows the hidden pockets now 😀. It does look like a very cool bag ... I can afford it but do I want to spend $300 on a bag, probably not. My $30 Columbia backpack works pretty perfectly
Take a shot Everytime he says bag 😂. In all seriousness I bought this bag preordered from all the hype and it's definitely not worth $300. I wish it was a little bigger. Also agree that the shoe cube is not a great addition. It does feel premium and is nice looking
Great and honest review Chris. This is definitely a premium bag with a lot of well thought out features. I had the BnB version but ultimately returned it due to some of the same observations you made. I wasn't able to store and access the gear comfortably since you run out of space pretty quickly with multiple paddles, balls on the side sleeves, and miscellaneous items in the main compartment. I also justified the purchase price for replacing my everyday backpack, but the base of the laptop sleeve wasn't cushioned enough and didn't want to risk damage to my computer when traveling. But mannn... this backpack is super slick otherwise. Looking forward to what KTCHN comes up with next!
Great looking bag and I have thought about it but would prefer a shoe compartment without having to attach an extra item. my 6.0 bag does just fine and for the $111 I paid. Great review as always.
Compared to what? $30 amazon bags that cost $8 to make? Yes. Compared to bags of similar material, build quality and R&D? No. We brought a new standard to Pickleball bags and yes it's shocking to what current standards are.

Best thing I did to my bag was to cut out most of the dividers. It gave me a lot more usable room in the main interior space (enough that water bottle and shoes fit inside the bag if I want). The rare occasion I need to carry a laptop and that many paddles, I can just stack some of them in the open area and it’s fine. I also completely forgot about my hidden pockets until this video. 😂
IMO the $300 price tag is on point. I love my KTCHNPickleball Court Caddy. I have the Bread & Butter edition. I get plenty of compliments on the courts and even more off the courts as I do use as a daily pack for work. Follow-up discussions on court typically are centered on the "steep $300 price tag". Personally I find the follow-up $300 price talk comical and interesting. The follow-up always come from players that insist on owning multiple and playing with only +$250 paddles. I've never thought about using my bag for anything other than gear for pickleball and or work laptop. I use the sunglass case for two Oakley Sutro, large frame perfect fit, but I don't use the magnetic holder. I throw a few odds and ends in the main compartment. If there's an extended stay or multiple day event I'd bring a separate bag. I think the KTCHN court caddy is worth the $300 price tag.
My adidas Excel 6 holds about 6 paddles, balls etc. two smaller zips for keys, wallet, etc.... 44 bucks on amazon. Mine has slightly larger zippers which have a fast action and can be zipped easily one handed without holding the other side with my other hand. Chris's bag zippers look smaller and really tight.
Awesome review! Honestly really love the look of the bag and that it can hold up to 64oz water bottles as someone who plays a lot of pickleball. Especially the bread and butter collab. One question I have is, if it is supposed to double as an everyday bag rather than a tournament level pickleball bag. Why hold so many paddles and pickleballs? I think this bag would benefit from maybe just one ball sleeve and holding 2 paddles. That way there is more space opened up for other items?
I like quality things, but a $100-$150 bag is absolutely plenty! That said, everything is made so cheaply these days, even the moderately priced stuff. so maybe $300 gets you a bag that lasts 10 years? But the way people spend and out buying habits, they want something new in a couple years anyways, so again, it makes no sense.
$300 and it doesn't even have a thermal lined area for paddles and balls when it's in the 90s and even hotter on the court and your bag is out in the hot sun for hours cooking you extra paddles and balls. No way that fits under an airplane seat with all those external attached bags. So, you detach them to even slide the main bag under the seat?? Then, what do you do with these extra loose bags while you are on the plane??
I use Gear Box for tournaments and winter play and a Ogio for everyday/summer play. Note, Ogio is not worth the price. The pickleball bag is poorly designed so I exchanged for the day pack. Still not a good design, but doable. Both were much less than $300!!!
With the price of paddles (that have to be replaced every 3-6 months anyway) I don't see this being a problem. Buy it and enjoy the quality for years. You won't regret it like a $300 paddle that doesn't work out.

I absolutely love the bag, and I totally think it's worth it. Like he says in the video, it's only for those who appreciate the highest quality of items. If you're complaining about the price then it's not for you, and even then I'm sure you'd change your mind if you felt it in person..
