- As per your requests, here is a tutorial on how I create my glassy nude nails! This is a gel polish overlay on my natural nails, however, you can use the Builder Gel to extend the tips of your nails if you use a form. Teddy is my favourite nude polish! The gel really is tough as nails and will be amazing if you struggle with weak natural nails.
* No base is required with the BIAB

I’m not a nail girl at all but watching this makes me want to be a nail girl, lol. I really love how natural the colour looks. I have the same problem with breakage. I can grow my nails long but only to a certain point before they are prone to breaking. 💅
This was so satisfying to watch 😊loved the different type of tut Shonagh ❤️
I love how you can explain why and how to apply different top coats and how it gives certain texture or finishes to the nails. It is so helpful !
You are so welcome!
Her natural nails are gorgeous!
My nail tech uses this exact color on me! I get a “fill” every two weeks and she can put chrome on top, gel polish or foil! Love this stuff!
Brilliant tutorial! Great beauty related content. Thank you for posting. Straight to the point & very informative. Beautiful nails 💕
Honestly imo the best builder/natural nails I've ever seen, so beautiful and so natural looking.. Great video too, thanks 👍🏻
Thank you so much 🤗💅🏻
Thanks for this, Shonagh! When I get a bit lower in quantity of my current gel I am going to try this for sure. Meantime I'll satisfy my urge to shop with the Cuticle Away. 🤭
You are so talented 💅🏼 x
Your nails/hands are absolute goals 😲 P.s. nobody's gonna comment on how stunning that ring looks too?! 🤩 Perfect combo!! 👏🏻💅🏻
Thank you Lynne!
Yaaassss think we've all been waiting for this one! Thank you!!! Xx
Beautiful universal color for all skin tones! Just ordered some. 😍
Enjoy doing your nails!
really so cute and gentle nails for girls . i love it
So beautiful ! 😍
You have such lovely nail beds x
That's pretty cool for not being sponsored or anything else just sharing for "giggles" . You are fantabulous human being.💗💗
Yeah, I genuinely love the product! I’ll always disclose any sponsorships and I’ll always genuinely like the product before considering a sponsorship.
Like always the best, thank you so much for explaining with detail it helps so much! Blessings ✨
You’re welcome, Gloria!
Can you show us how you infill these nails, please.
Literally the perfect nail color
I love it!
This is so beautiful most I was tort just to apply like nail polish not to build up like that will try it this way
Beautiful!!
Thankyou so much for your knowledge very helpful.
These are stunning!
Thanks Annie!
This tutorial was perfect ! I love how it was in real time & all the tips you gave ! Definitely going to give this a go 🫶🏽
Love this shape & length! ❤
Thank you!
Perfect natural nails 😍
Very kind, thank you!
Hi Shonagh, really nice video! I want to buy a beginners kit for myself. Can you indicate the tools you used in the video, like the sharp cuticle pusher and the small brush to help guide the gel? Many thanks!
this looks amazingly cute and clean. I have psoriatic nails so it is sad to know that ill never achieve that kind of look on me.
Stunning!!
Thanks, Maddie!
Absolutely beautiful.
Thank you!
love the color
Thanks, Michelle! It’s my favourite!
Is that tool a good idea to use on natural nails to reduce build up of stuff? Your nails are lovely Shonagh 💝
So beautiful 😍💖
Wow I’ve never heard of this!! I’m so bad at painting my nails and they never last, but I reckon with this it’s easier since they cure! Thanks so much for sharing, this is exactly what I was looking for 🥰🤩
Beautiful 🤩
So beautiful nails thanks
What nail cuticule remover instrument did you use?
Thanks for sharing your skills on nail 💅 very beautiful
love it
i loved this video
Thank you so much
Are there any shades you recommend like this one in a non-gel formula? It's really so unique.
love your ring!!!!!!!
Thanks Deborah!
Thank you for showing us ⭐️
💥💥 00:32 Love this cuticles product, gonna try with the sharp tool
What a beautiful ring u have
You inspired me to start doing this myself!! currently doing my first ever attempt :D
I love nails😍😍😍
Me too!
If I do gel nails like the video can you remove the gel with just nail polish remover or do you have to use a specific product? Great video please let me know.
Hey! I love the color of this nail polish but I can't purchase it since I am not a professional. Do you have any alternative gel nail polishes that are the same color and that I could purchase?
Gorgeous beautiful ❤❤❤
Thanks Sam!
Wow, I LOVE the natural look of your nails. What an amazing job! I was wondering if you could tell me the best type of UV lamp you used I cure the gel? My nails are so weak and I need something quality because I really want to attempt this and keep it up. Please and thanks!
You’re amazing!
Thank you! I use a lamp by TheGelBottle, it’s been designed to use with this polish as it has a low setting to avoid heat spikes.
U got beautiful nails!!! 😍
That’s really kind, thank you!
What artistry. I just get a reg mani/pedi. No designs. I've never had the joy of seeing this type of art up close.
Hi, thx for the video. I love thid colour so much. Can we use this gel without the machin with blue light??
Hi, can you recommend a cuticle tool as used in this video ? Thank you
Can you link the cuticle pusher? Or suggest one?
So Happy you showed this and that all of the products are cruelty free! I had given up on nails, now I might test it again. Is a certain type of lamp you have, or will any do?
Nail tech here - you need a lamp with a low heat setting. It avoids heat spikes and BIAB needs to be cured slowly and gradually - 90 seconds or more. Undercured gel is what causes allergies and reactions.
Great video. I'm just getting to doing my nails.
. I did builder gel and then I put gel polish on. It turned out nice. But I'm still learning. Your nails 💅 are lovely.
Thank you so much for this video, I bought the products and my nails came out perfectly! I've always wanted that glassy pink look but could never get it with normal nail polish and this stuff is so easy to work with! Can you paint over these if you fancy a change with normal nail polish though? I'm most grateful to you! xx
You’re welcome! And yes you absolutely can!
@@ShonaghScott perfect, thank you again! xx
It says you need to show proof you are a beautician to buy. How did you buy them?
It's so beautiful and I would love to have it for me... If you please tell me where can I get it and approximate cost of it
Could you use this technique with other non-builder gel polishes?
Your ring is beautiful!
Thank you!
Great video! What's the brand of the cuticle stick that you are using you didn't put it in the comments I tried to find it but I couldn't
can you please do a video on how you do your infills?
Im sod :) fab nails x
Perfect 😍 But how to remove it ?
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
nice! how can i get this effect with a no soak laquer?? 😔
I am a nail tech I do it all .. acrylic, hard gel , polygel, gel polish, gel full cover tip application technique with either gel or acrylic… even though I don’t do my own very often my health is failing ie: kidney failure and extremely bad anemia and rare type of diabetes it’s a mess .. but I’m just not able to do my own or clients I still practice on my red iguana
wow ammmazing .. do you have any idea If I can find a color similar that is NOT GEL ? regular nail polish? thank you again
Looks a bit like Kure Bazaar Rose Milk to me ✌️
Hi Shonagh, fab video! Do you need dehydrate and prime before this BIAB? Thanks 😊xx
Hey Carmel! Thank you. No, you don’t need to but I usually wipe over the nail with acetone having removed the previous BIAB so it’s usually dehydrated anyway. It definitely won’t hurt but it’s not necessary.
Hey I just brought a UV lamp finally and then realised all my fave tutorials are using regular polish -not gel/UV set.. can I put on regular polish and then use a UV set top coat to get the look of my favourite polishes but have the long lasting affect of UV set polish?? TY
They likely won’t last AS long as gel polish but it will help to prevent chipping of your regular polish. You must leave a little gap around the cuticle and sidewalls for the clear UV top coat to adhere to the natural nail bed or it will just peel off after a day or two. Don’t forget to cap the free edge as well.
Nice
Hi can you build with this colour using the forms? And How do you use it.
Just seen your video now for the first time and really like it. Thank you
Yes you can use the forms! Apply a thin layer first to create the shape then cure it. Then apply a slip layer, and then a bead to build up on it, the same way you would here in this video.
I loved this and you motivated me to do it. So sad when I saw I needed a certificate on the website to purchase the builder polish ☹️☹️☹️☹️
You can purchase from NailzKatKat without a certificate!
Thank you for such a great tutorial! I noticed you went straight in with the gel polish, is there no need for a base coat at all? 😊
You’re welcome! And no, no base coat required! Makes it much quicker for the application.
❤️
Do you not have to buff the nails at all? Or did you do that when you removed them? If so, was that with a white block or soft file? Thanks so much. Gorgeous nails xxx
I used a 100/180 file just to buff over the surface before applying the colour ☺️👍🏼
Can you link your curing light
good
Hi what cutical pusher did you use please
Looks great, unfortunately I am allergic to all gel nail Ingredients so I stick with normal nail polish instead
Hi Shonagh, I love these videos focusing on BIAB application and wondered if you could point me in the direction of the course you did please??
Hey Monica, sadly the course is not available anymore. It appears the lady is no longer offering them - sorry about that!
@@ShonaghScott Thank you so much for replying :)
@@MonicaGale anytime! ♥️
Hi where did you get that little brush you swoop to the side of the nail please
Where can I get that nail tool ? What that exact kind (same one ☝🏻)
Since the gel bottle isn’t available to everyone, what other brand do you recommend? And a color like Teddy?
I’ll be honest, I’ve not found one like it 😣 it’s literally the best and seemingly one of a kind.
I like Luminary in “hope” and Gelish Structure in “cover pink”.
'Shy Pink' by Naio Nails looks really similar! I'm planning on buying it, so will report back, although it's a gel polish and not a builder gel.
Just got the Mia Secret biab on Amazon & I think teddy looks kind of similar to their “cover nude”
@@opalsasha how’d it turn out??
So pretty! I went to go buy it, but I don’t have a professional license 🥺...know anywhere else I can purchase Teddy BIAB? I’m in NYC btw. Love your channel!🤗❤️
I dont want to buy a machine for gel polishes that require it, but what other gels do you recommend that dont require the light
There aren't any gels on the market that don't need a lamp to cure.
Can I use sensationail led lamp for these?
Grrat Video! May I ask why you stopped doing nails Professionally?
What solution do you use for remove the gel
Do you have to use there lamps ?
I’d love to order this product, but it’s for professionals only.
I really love this colour how do I buy it without being a certified nail tech?
Someone found a dupe in the comments. I’m a certified technician so that’s why I’m able to purchase it.
wow you nail beds are extremely nice. Can you do a video with short square nails?
Thank you!
Haha, unfortunately I won’t cut my nails shorter 🙈
@@ShonaghScott Its ok I have found videos on your channel where you have short square nails.
Yeah! They were from a while back
☺️👍🏼
@@ShonaghScott I bet they would look good with just clear nail varnish on
it sucks that you have to be a nail tech to buy the nail polish:(
You don’t
@@teccs9652 in the US you need to be licensed to purchase on their website
It won’t let me buy it and I’m in the UK
You need to upload a beauty certificate
does anyone know how I can buy the gel without being a professional?
✊🏻✊🏻00:32 gonna try the product
how long should I flash cure to avoid the ripple? what does it mean if ti does ripple? x
If it’s rippling you likely have applied too much, if it’s too thick it won’t cure from the inside out. Are you using this particular brand? You want to flash cure for around 30/40 seconds.
Do you have to cure 1 nail at time then to stop it running?
I semi-cure each nail for around 35/40 seconds to prevent it running.
