    Should be in museums and schools, not showers and kitchen backsplashes

      Those fish are the most common in the world Literally 1000's of them are found at the green river formations.

      These fish have been around for over 50 million years, there would be billions of fossilised fish and other creatures in these quarry's . There wouldn't be enough room in all the museums and schools to contain these fossils. So selling them to people who are interested in them as ornamental pieces is ok. I would love to have my walls decorated with these fascinating pieces.

      I appreciate the sentiment, but if you want to talk about schools in a meaningful way, that would be very low on their priorities. Try paying teachers at a decent wage first.
