I’m nearly 53 years young and one thing i learned from my drill instructor in basic training 1990-91, he told us that, Life is 90% mental, and 10% physical, and that changed the way i thought about the world around me , sometimes it’s worth taking a pause for 10 seconds or more, and take a deep breath in and exhale slowly a few times just to try and calm yourself down and gain some clarity on what you are experiencing in the moment, maybe even just try to name 5 different noises around you just to regain some composure

Some of the best advice Ive heard. My wife and I were catching a flight the next day. She didnt sleep a wink worrying over the flight. She was exhausted and irritable all day and slept as soon as we got to the hotel wasting a night of vacation. We cant control the plane departing on time, the weather, the Uber arriving etc etc. Take care of the things you can control and dont sweat the rest of it

When I was learning flooring, I used to always come up and tell my uncle we had a problem, one day he said no you don't, you have a solution. Don't look for problems, look for solutions. It opened a whole new dimension of consideration and allows me more access to my imagination to solve problems rather than wasting energy identifying or dwelling over them. It helped me realize nothing is impossible, we just need to look Beyond our expectation of limits.

EXACTLY. My fiance is always asking how I stay calm. I keep trying to explain that panic only makes things worse. If you're calm you're not concentrating on the why you're thinking about all of the ways to fix it. We're already in it now we need to figure out how to it. The why and what does not matter.

Its when i SHIFTED my attention to truth and wisdom , calm and stillness, and thankfulness did i realize the Solution
