    Hay brian great video to train the newbys how do you like the takeuchi i think they are the best mini diggers on the market hydrolics are silky smooth cabs are decent size miles better tha kubota or case (i hate case as you know😂) only thing is the pins and bushes wear quickly 👍

    If you could explain to us more in depth on how to keep the far edge of the trench straight where when digging on that side of the machine your bucket is not parallel to the trench wall that would be awesome advice. As a rather green operator digging mainline trench for pipeline, when i come across some of the tougher soil up here in the Canadian north, or during the other 10 months of the year the soil is frozen 4ft from the surface and the clay deflects your bucket when reaching for the far wall. how do you minimize time loss and maintain efficiency while trying to scratch out the opposite wall of your trench to be straight.

      I'll try to do a video on this concept. The quick answer is to take small bites so the machine can hold your line. You also want to leave a slot to hold your bucket to the line, similar to what you are doing when the machine is digging straight.
