WELCOME TO Day 5 in PHUKET! Today we are exploring the beautiful island by BIKE! We rented our bikes for around 200 Baht away from the main beachfront! We then just explored the nearby beaches before getting caught in a wild STORM!! Matt fell off of a rock and we only just made it up to the viewpoint so this video is pretty chaotic LOL! Hope you enjoy!

I stayed few days in Cape Panwa, where Leonardo DiCaprio stayed while filming d beach, extended another few more days n stay a budget hotel with a lovely breakfast buffet in front of Patong beach n rented a jeep to explore d island on d last day. Thanks for showing Phuket n your marvelous adventure. 😁

That's an awesome beach in Phuket for real! Another hidden gem but travelling there wasn't been so easy, you might need to take a lot of walk after a scooter ride and slippery rocks on the way but in the end it's real life worth it...👍😂 there's so many beaches and Karron sounds like Coron in the Philippines, it's a real paradise for you two...

Phuket and Samui are more expensive than BKK. If you love the beautiful beach city you can choose PHANGNA instead. Breathtaking rock mountains and beaches but so peaceful and inexpensive.

Nice trip. Freedom beach is indeed the best in Phuket in term of clarity of the waters and less crowded remote location. However good only for a short day trip as there are no hotel facilities nearby. All the other beaches in Phuket are equally beautiful. Pity you didnt visit the viewpoint and Yanui beach, another small but beautiful lcoation.,

Hello guys, I envy both of you. Phuket is my favourite Island in Phuket. I usually stay at the Graceland Phuket and Spa. I have been to Phuket nearly 10 times, but surely there are some hotels a lot cheaper then I am spending at Graceland. Could you recommend me anything in Phuket and Koh Samui in the $20 to $30 range. My plans are to go to Koh Samui next year, if everything goes right in Perth. At the moment the airfares are gone over the top and so are hotels. At the moment even the airports are crowded in Perth and there is a lot of cancellation and delays at the airport. I lost a fair bit in 2019. So I have to do the right thing. Enjoy yourself and stay safe.
Amazing place isn't it, I mean we would definitely recommend an AIR Bnb to keep the costs down in Phuket, but we use booking.com and filter to the cheapest 3 star or 4 star and see what price fits us!

Do you guys have a full motorbike licence in the UK? as far as I can tell you wouldn't be covered by travel insurance if you have an accident if not. Is it just a risk you think is worth taking?

I do not know what happened. I just got a call from my neighbour saying that one of my lambs is trapped. This little shit. I do not know how she goes on the other side. I will have to check again tomorrow morning. I love Thailand very much. I wish I had made up my mind when I got my divorce. But now it is too late. I am climbing the ladder to 75. Why should the landowner build hundreds of steps down to the beach for no charge?
Been to Phuket 3 times over the last year. The beaches are still decent but they need to bring much more awareness to the use of plastic, recycling and keeping the beaches clean. I saw lots of trash on the beaches and very few people cleaning them up and there are hardly any trash bins. Agree with you that Freedom Beach is one of the best because it is more isolated with much fewer people. Thailand needs to be careful or they will end up closing some of these beaches like they did at Boracay Beach in the Philippines.

Phuket is way more modern and developed and it has proper sewage system that do not leak into the sea. Littering, plastic discards indeed pose a problem but are limited from what is seen. They have civic conscious groups cleaning up the beaches every now and then.
Just a note, a lot of the plastic washes up from far away during the rainy season and locals have limited resources to clean the beaches during this period.
What I find most interesting is how they manage to have people collecting money even in the most isolated areas. Shouldn't Paradise be free😅😍
