    I'm about 4 years too late, but many of you need to actually research before you speak your opinions. Predators and ALL game needs to be managed to keep a healthy population of all species. Don't go spouting of how they're endangered because you don't have them in your round about. Where these animals are abondant, they will have a season. Where they are not, they won't. Get educated on wildlife before you rant about what is and what should be. And thank your local hunters and anglers that we have this wildlife to enjoy, because it truly is because of them that they're so well managed. Go to school children and thank you Howtohunt!

    Great example of how it's done. I now understand, to catch a wolf you need to think like a wolf. By understanding their thinking, one can predict what they will do. That is the key to being successful as a wolf hunter. Thanks Steve, this was golden.

    LMFAO! I find it ironic that a dog food commercial is the prelude to this video! Get that wolf population down to a manageable level. Great video as always!

    Twenty-five members sounds like a proper, Super-Pack.
    That is a huge population for a single group.
    Those wolves are beginning to sound more like a tribal chorus.

    Hi Steve. Nice video. I know how hard it is to trap wolves. Ive never done it, but have trapped coyotes. Theyre very smart. Wolves are smarter than coyotes. Rev.

    Keep up the good work. We trap wild dogs here in Australia. Domestic / dingo cross bred. They are killing machines that destroy livestock. Check out my vids google (Feral dogs + Gary Gunner) and have a look. Packs of 15 are not uncommon. Love your work.

    I hate them! But I'm from a ranching family. Those things can go into that lope and cover 100 miles a day. But like most predators they would rather kill easy targets. Cow and sheep fit that bill!

      We have 'foot traps' as well , the rancher is using a few. I am not due to having to check every 3 days by law. I am too far away from the areas I am trapping to be able to check every 3 days.

    Not a big fan of killing wolves love your other videos was wondering about the wolf bilaws in your area as i come from a place that has hunted them out due to farming but were not even aloud to hunt deer here

    • @idratherbeoutdoors3085
      @idratherbeoutdoors3085 Před 6 lety

      There are too many wolves here. BC and AB are over carrying capacity, meaning there isn't enough game to go around, and they get into livestock and other mischief. Numbers around these parts need reducing. The whole near extinction thing was many decades ago. We brought them back well.
