- If there’s a hotel brand that will place the likes of Carlton, Regis & Seasons as downright ‘pedestrian’, well it’s definitely Aman. This is without a doubt, the best hotel in the Japanese capital, and the other luxury properties won’t even come close.
Splurged myself a bit this time by booking the hotel’s second largest room (Corner Suite), which granted me the liberty of admiring the 270-degree view of Tokyo; Tokyo Bay (bedroom), Tokyo Station (bathroom), Otemachi CBD, Mt. Fuji, Imperial Garden Palace, Shinjuku skyline (living & dining room), all from the privacy of the hotel’s highest floor.

Actually, the better option is to book through a virtuoso affiliated travel agent. Hotels usually prioritise travel agent customers over FHR members, as the agents themselves have connections with the hotel's management.
@@kraftpunk6654 It also depends on who the Virtuoso agent is. Sometimes the agent might have connections with certain properties but not others. Also, AMEX FHR has guaranteed 4PM check out whereas Virtuoso is 4PM check out based on availability. Personally, I would book Virtuoso for the first part of the stay and AMEX FHR for the final night if late check out is important.
In short each privellege have to find yoursels instead of relying staff to look for best deal. They not going to entertain that

I first saw to Small Laude Vlog a Filipina Vlogger. But this is the first I saw the Hotel with much nicer presentation. That ceiling gives me excitement i wish i could see that in person. Really impressed with how grandeur the Hotel is ❤❤❤
Aman urban? Excited! Then, meh: tedious check in, minibar is extra$ at $3500/night, a really small TV, cinderblock and particle board design aesthetic without even a flower. Thanks for showing me how to save lots of money.

I feel the Standard room offers better views than the corner suites as the bed is positioned windows adjacent. At this moment Aman is in a league of its own Six Senses & FS come close but not enough. Very good cinematography and that 20 sec intro was absolutely spot on.

This is seriously the best hotel in Tokyo!
Aman has been on my bucket list for quite a while, and even though we've got one in Thailand, the price per night is really a reach for me (even when compared to other five star hotels in Thailand and Aman in other countries). I hope that one day I'll be able to afford a night at one of these amazing rooms.
Great video. it looks amazing. must admit, at first i didnt like the style of the room especially in the living room, the couch seemed too simple with the small tv and i really didn’t like the hidden desk and bathroom with the grey brick wall, didnt seem luxury at all tbh but the bedroom seemed much nicer and especially the bathroom looked incredible, and everything changed with the sunset, night and sunrise.. WOW it turned into a different place. The common spaces also looked top level, i would’ve also visited a pool like that multiple times too! 30 meters is impressive for a city pool in general lol. I love that they gave you that personalized service, just the idea that you never had to confirm a name or room number is an experience i hope to try.

Looks like a normal 5 star hotel with clean basic rooms which should be the standard for all hotels but is it worth about 1000 USD per night probably not but if you got extra cash laying around and dont know what to do with it then this would be a good choice.

This hotel reminds me of my favorite hotel in Hong Kong. Called, The Upper House. In Admiralty. HK Island. Near Pacific Place high end shopping mall.
Their rooms are some of the biggest hotel rooms in HK. About 700 square feet. Same sense of design too. Zen like. Why I love to stay there too.

The views through the huge windows were stunning. The room design with all the blond wood felt cold and sterile to me. Sound echoed do to lack of carpet or rugs. The furniture was functional. It was nice you had friends to share your table with you.

i stayed at some pretty nice hotels last time i went, W Osaka, Kimpton Shinkjuku, The Prince Park Tower Tokyo, Tokyo Okura, Kobe and Kyoto. this is leagues above all of them
What camera do you use?
I’d never heard of this brand before I started to look for accommodations in Tokyo. I typically stay at Peninsula or Ritz-Carlton properties. BTW, the suite you were shown first is larger than my house! I live in the City of Los Angeles.
Aman is ultra-luxury. Insane, insane prices beyond even some established 5-star names.
during evening, is the lobby pretty active with guest drinking? or is it pretty quiet like other aman properties
The lobby was pretty packed in late afternoon, but never uncomfortably noisy. Non-hotel guests can also partake in afternoon tea at the lobby lounge.

The amazing thing about traveling to Japan is that you get 5 star service almost everywhere. THE best customer service on the planet bar none.
For the most part, things seemed reasonably priced. The only outrageous price was for the 60-minute massages. That was a bit excessive lol
The views are great and I'm sure the hotel staff are great but this doesn't feel like a $3,500 a night room.
You are paying that for one of the best hotels in the world tho. Prices for those can easily reach tens of thousands for the night.

I’m going to comment in that the hotel feels like it’s missing that warm Japanese touch. It’s a little stern. I love the hotel it’s just that something is missing.
