That gel pen *absolutely* makes a difference! I clicked as soon as I saw the thumbnail because the cards are sooo pretty!

I don’t know which you are better at! Story telling or crafting!! You are very talented. I had a dog who had two leg surgeries within 6 months. I slept in our sunroom on s blow up mattress to keep her quiet!!

When I started to use embossing in my cards in the early 2000’s I used a brass plate and a metal stylus with a light board. Embossing folders are so much easier and quicker! These cards are gorgeous! I agree, the white gel pen adds so much! P.S. love the cliffhanger! Lol!

The cards are absolutely gorgeous! Oh, Kelly, I feel your pain and am laughing at the same time. We had a 19+ lb Maine Coon mix that opened doors and got into just about everything. He even busted out a window trying to chase a squirrel. Our daughter is 34 and nearly two years into it with her first child and still her baby stories haunt her. From projectile vomiting to jumping on the bed and launching herself into the closet. I'm so glad I can laugh about this stuff now. Take care.

I was laughing and feeling your pain at same time, actually had to restart video to comment. As dog owners, we have slept on air mattresses with dogs that had surgery, went through 4 types of cones with one dog, and got really good at replacing partially torn dressings. Hope Kaitlyn is feeling better. Love the stamping technique and cards, they are beautiful and texture amazing
Florals on dark backgrounds are always my jam - I love your cards! Great ideas for texture without embossing folders - or just texture in general! I’m a big fan of the clear embossing on backgrounds too. So beautiful! I’m behind in watching vids so I don’t have to wait long for the cliffhanger, but oh my! Hands in vomit would have resulted in more vomit (from me). Oh Kelly…my heart goes out to you!

I'm so glad to be 72 years old and done with baby vomit, baby poopies, baby tantrums etc! I feel for you ...honestly I do, but so glad it's is a younger person dealing with this.....and poor Molly! I feel so bad for her because she obviously feels bad and wants to be close to her family while she sleeps.....I hope you can figure out a way for Molly to be close at night so she feels connected with you! Love to you all, prayers for a full recovery for Molly too. And, yes I love your cards...so different but so gorgeous!

These cards are stunning. Girl... I've been there...I hope things are quieting down for you.
Love this technique Kelly. I wanted to offer a suggestion for the little princess. Get one of those blow up kiddie pools and lay it in your floor. Her toys will be contained and soft sides if she fell. This time of year you can get a good deal on one.

@@KellyTaylorCards thanks.. baby steps in the right direction… air lifted ( royal flying doctors service) from the country with burst aorta, successful operation to repair. She’s being weaned off the ventilator and they are stopping dialysis over night, so they can see if her kidneys can function… then it’s seeing if there is brain damage because of anoxia.

Beautiful cards! I’ve always preferred pigment inks rather than dye inks. I always feel they give more options. No evidence for that, just a feeling. 😄 I just love that Eric used zip ties to fix the crate. That just tickled me.
My daughter always entertained herself as a kid. She was reading at 4 yrs, and spent tons of time reading. We were too poor to own a tv, so that was great. 😂

Thank you for showing 3 different ideas of how to place your florals to make different cards using the same stamp set. I am looking forward to trying this..love the looks you got especially when adding pencil crayons to add more color to the inked florals.

I have a cat who’s about a year and a half and this child destroys everything I own. I made a gnome- he ripped its nose off. I made a wreath- he ripped the embellishments off. I had bottled water in its plastic on my kitchen floor- he punctured holes and drained half the water out of 2-3 of them. He ate a cucumber that was on my counter. 🐈 drives me insane. Lol

Absolutely gorgeous cards Kelly. I could so relate to your Molly story, we have a 100lb Lab mix and our vet had to put him on both Trazodone and gabapetin to keep him down after his surgery. Hopefully things will get better with Molly.
I just got her a prescription for trazadone at her follow up appointment!

Beautiful cards! I love these ideas to pop the design. Kids and dogs. When my husband wanted to get a dog... I had 4 kids and he was out of town all the time. Told him I had enough animals in the house.... didn’t need another one to take care of! I know.... I deprived my kids of the joy of a pet...which is why all but one now have dogs now that they’re adults. So I can’t relate to cage escaping or playpen jumping.... but to top it off YOU landed in 🤮. I just let out a deep sigh for you! It’s always something! Parenting.... with kids or pets... is not for sissies! 🙋♀️💕🌴
