You're, I agree with you. It was such a tense final when Australia got back to within a score, but Carter's few points and then Barrett to do that, when he caught the ball I screamed.
I have not seen the final try but before seeing it I already know what it has to be

9:19 The All Blacks winning the Cup aside, the most magical moment of the whole tournament was Japan beating South Africa! Who could have imagined it? There is a fairy tale moment in every World Cup and this was it.
And now they've swept a group containing Ireland and Scotland.
That Japanese winning try over the boks was amazing. Seeing how much it meant to them - that surely helped them along on their way to an excellent 2019 World Cup series.

My favourite world cup ever. Still watching this compilation 4 years later. Makes me sad to think well never see Carter, McCaw, Nonu, Michalak, Savea, Giteau, Parrise, and many other great players in a World Cup again

south african here: say what you will...but there is something special about New Zealand when they score a try..its like they appreciate every effort that was put into it and the celebration of each try is something to behold.
they just cannot be hated...its inevitable.
