Personally I am more concerned about exactly what chemicals it is pumping out.

The point you made about charging is a good one. If you are out on a multi day trip this could be a problem. A net does not need batteries and generally won’t break down. Car camping is definitely an option. I like to keep things simple like your puck stove.

Just order one today were i live is close to a marsh when i go out on a bike ride like to sit on the bench cant sit longer that 10 mins due to the plagues of gnats and mozzys this will do the trick nicely watch the sunset on the dee estuary now in peace

Wonder if it works on Scottish Midges 🦟

  • @orraman5427

It certainly looks as if it will keep west highland midges away when the wind is blowing above 10mph.

That pot looks similar to mine. I picked up a pot at a boot sale for £3.00. Didnt know much about it. Got home and did some research to find out it was a four dogs Mors 8 pot by mors kochanski , well chuffed with it. Used it a few times already and love it

Recently bought one of these and tested it out on a recent trip to the Lake District, which it worked really well I found that if using it for a picnic it’s good to set it off a good few minutes before you sit down.. great bit of kit.

  • @larskarlsson9682

have u compared that with the Thermacell, swedish thing

  • @williamdavies9678

You been wearing that shirt/jacket in your last few videos what is it and where can I get one??? Love the videos 😊

  • @AndyZE123

Looks like you can buy them in the UK, but not the repellant pads.

  • @pault1289

Thanks for the review and as a dual use (repellent and lamp) it looks really good!

  • @TheWizardOfTheFens

Well I went on your recommendation Neil! I just bought one and I’ve got to say I am impressed with it. The light given off is excellent in my opinion, and I have to say in mid December I haven’t yet seen a mozzie 😂

  • @110adventures7

Great review, love the idea of a mozzie repellant and light in one.

  • @danielcharbonneau222

Now that sure seems to work incredible, that's brilliant. That's something that I'm going to look in to. It would be a good test here in Northern Ontario Canada. The mosquitoes here are a pound each LOL

  • @steverose4639

Thanks Neil for a very honest review. Are you sporting a new watch??

  • @EdwinDekker71

Nice review, how long do those pads last? Thanks

  • @andyclarke7265

I purchased mine directly from flextail gear in the US, after seeing some American reviews. Where did you get yours.

  • @lessmiles1

What brand of watch are you wearing?

  • @jasoncalaz1476

Thamkyou for the review Neil. I have been looking at one of theses and thought it may be to good to te true. I wonder if you could charge this from a battery pack..... I'm assuming so. Do you or anyone in the comments know if this would be an option.

  • @wildsau1965

how long do the repellent pads last . can you use just for a few hours in the evening while setting up camp and then for a few hours during the take down ??
