In my opinion, this is the most professional solidworks tutorial I've seen on CZcams aside another channel. I like how you explain the rational behind every step that is taken.
Brilliant stuff, thank you very much indeed, Adam. This along with your mouse modelling video is so much better than the official SW surfacing course. There are so many details to learn from.
on that top plane trimming sketch at 10:19 if you wanted a flat section in the middle with splines that were nicely tangent to the flat face how would you do that? so that the loft builds smoothly off it.... every different way i attempt it i get errors and objections, its driving me nuts
If you finish your model, and then decide you want to change the overall size, is there a way to do that? Can you reset the size of that line you put in early on to rescale the entire model, or does that line only affect the sketch pictures?
For my intersection as in the video, I perform the same actions as you. However, I am only able to get the small intersection area corresponding to the surface revolve even if I exclude the small intersection area. Can anyone please tell me how can I get the solid body at the end excluding the small intersection?
When you have fully finished the surface modeling for one half of the part. That way all you have left to do is shell the half and then mirror it - giving you the completed part

Very well explained, and straight forward tutorial. Clear as a whistle.
Thank you very much for doing this!
I always come back to this video. Thank you.
Nicely Done. Thank you sir!!! (20 year solidworks user hear - still learning new tricks every day thanks to great videos like this!)
Genuinely appreciate these videos. I learn more from 30 minutes of video than in an entire semester of class.
Our teacher put this tutorial in class. I think it is better this way, because we can see the exact steps
Great video. Very useful to see a variety of tools being applied rather than a 30 minute video about the extrude-cut feature, or something.
Thank you for this video. The intersect feature really helped me out.

I'm back!!! When do you cut a surface with a solid?
How about using a point cloud from a FARO laser scanner and creating a surface?
Dankjewel

Sir, what is the differences between surface modeling, solid modeling and sheet modeling? Please answer. Thanks in advance
very useful
WORKING thx bro
Excellent tutorial. Can you also do a car modeling tutorial please.
please upload the link download for the photo
You could have used the scale tool on the ruler, seeing as it's unequivocally correct.
Thankyou Sir 😊
please provide download link for images
At what time did you make it into a solid body? (so that you could shell)
+Zoe Doucette i have the same question
Intersect makes it solid.

nice
Can you upload images?
How copy 14:45''? Can you explain?
Why use deform tool and just include that initially?
You could have used some transparency on those images
It's ping not PNG
ping format must be invented by your dad. because your dad creates generally useless things..
its PNG.
