  • Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 at Gary, Indiana, USA. As a tribute to The King Of Pop's birthday, let's unbox the Bandai S.H. Figuarts Michael Jackson figure based on his appearance from the "Smooth Criminal" performance on the 1988 "Moonwalker" film. Let's see how this authentic figure compare with the bootleg or knockoff version. If you enjoy this video, please don't forget to like, comment or subscribe to the channel. I try to upload new content at least once a week. Thank you and have a nice day!

Honestly the villain's image from Demon Slayer was probably taken from him.

I just picked this up today and I can't tell from your review but the face paint application looks almost like speckled on or airbrushed? At least on mine, can't tell from yours but I don't like how cheap and fake it looks. Was this normal for the company back then?

Did you picked up the authentic or the bootleg version? I think the face sculpts were hand painted on both versions. Face printing technology was not yet applied when this figure was released.

@@rvtoyzone028 it's the authentic. The one on the left. And it has the light blue shirt like the one in your video not that darker color

@@theharbinger00 I see. The SH Figuarts face paint is not that good in the first place. We only have two figures in 1/12 scale to choose from, this SHF Smooth Criminal version and the Figma Thriller version. Hopefully, some company will try to produce new ones.

@@rvtoyzone028 I looked at a other review and it has the same face as mind when he zoomed up so yea it is what it is unfortunately. I didn't know that figma figure was real thought it was bootleg? Does figma have a online checklist of all their releases? Would be nice to try and go back to get some older ones
