Good afternoon and Cheers, dear Paul! Masking fluid, scraping, splashing, salt, card, almost all the watercolor tricks in this video demonstrated in 20 mins! Thank you for this beautiful land/sea scape! Great tutorial! Greetings from Moldova, Lilia 🎨
Many thanks Lilia!!!!
love irish landscapes paul
Great to hear - thanks!
A pretty sky, a seascape, a landscape and some foreground rocks...now that is a very comprehensive tutorial! The rocks are masterful using some simple techniques. As usual, many thanks!
Thank you so much 😀
Good morning. Have been to Ireland twice and I have to pull up my photos. Thank you. What a beautiful country. Thank you Paul.

Well Paul, it has been a long time coming but you have done us proud with this beauty. The people of County Kerry will be dancing jigs☘Can't wait to get started with this and hopefully to hang it on the wall. Many thanks and much love from Ireland ☘❤☘❤☘
Great to hear Dearbhla and so pleased you like it .... and sorry for the poor accent!!!!
@@ArtbyPaulClark LOL I blame Darby O'Gill - he cursed us to sound like leprechauns for all eternity 😂 Hope you enjoyed your pint of 'the black stuff'...it takes a strong stomach 😛 Thanks Paul.

Love love love it.
I tell everyone who asks about you, sir. Your whole vibe, way of instructing, interesting techniques, encouraging ways are very disarming and accessible.
Thank you for giving of your time and talent.
And your music choices are spot on!
Awesome! Thank you, that's very kind - thanks
This has to be one of my favourites so far ❤ the greens are so vibrant and represent the dingle peninsula perfectly. Thank you x
Yay, thank you!
I saw the picture while scrolling through your videos. I know this are of Dingle very well and you've captured it beautifully! Thank you for such a wonderful tutorial
My mother went to Ireland and couldn't stop talking about how lush and beautiful it was. She also talked about how great the people were. Thank you for this tutorial. Your paintings are just spectacular.
Thanks for sharing! - yes a wonderful place. We went on a cycling tour of Ireland a few years back and the folks where lovely!
And we all love your accent, Mr. Clark.
Ahhh, lovely to hear - thanks!
My husband and I are celebrating 8 years of marriage next week! My early gift was a trip to the art supply store and I stocked up on supplies to fuel my newfound watercolor hobby. I've been loving it so much and I think I'll paint and frame this for him. He's a proud Irishman.
Hi Paul, I’m new to your channel as I am to painting. I just wanted to thank you as I’ve learnt so much from watching your tutorials over the last few weeks and found the answers to so many little technics that were baffling me. Thank you so much.
You are very welcome Mike!
Дивовижна картина ! Дякую за відео! 👌👌👌💚❤💙👍👍👍
Many thanks!
Paul that is a stunning painting, spattering may be 'fashionable' for some however you are a master at it!😊🖌
Oh, thank you. I have made several attempts to capture the coastline from pictures I have taken on visits - each one an improvement on the last effort. After watching this video, I can hardly wait to have another go. I especially love your rocks.
Wonderful! - have fun!
Thanks Paul! Ireland and England is so much like Newfoundland. My Great grandfather came from Dorset England and settled in Long Pond Newfoundland. Where many of the English settled. Thanks for the lesson.
So cool! Glad you like it - thanks!
I love the way you have used the masking fluid for the wild flowers, that's a great idea, it looks amazing
Thank you so much 😊
It all looked beautiful to me, until you brought the colour of the sea up and I saw the difference it had made! Lovely! Thankyou ❤ XXX
Pleasure as always!
Picked up my brush and paints after 25 odd years now at 30!
Watercolor has become my meditation, something I do to relax. It's quite therapeutic ain't it?
Started watching your videos almost a year back! Finally I am able to do justice to your tutorial and paint a version of this highland of which I am somewhat proud of! Love the way you teach, love your 'time for a short break: beverages' and everything else!
Keep doing what you are doing and know you have fans around the globe that look up to you!
Love from Bangalore, India!
Greetings from Holland! After watching this turorial I’m totally zen. Can’t wait to try and use these techniques, using as a reference one of the photos I took on the Isle of Skye a few years ago! Thank you!
Wonderful! - much appreciated!
Beautiful painting Paul, the accent was “fine”😂 I’ve only starting following you a few month’s ago but love your style and good humour and that comes all the way from Ireland.
Awesome, thank you!
I like the lovely subtle prismatic look of this coastal landscape. Cheers 🍻 Mr. Clark. And Miss Margot 🥂 too!
Many thanks Nancy!
Good Morning Paul,
I haven't been in Ireland but this beautiful painting gives me an idea how beautiful and green must be. Thank you for taking the time to teach us.
Regards,
Maria Eadie
Many thanks Maria!
Good morning Paul! (8amCA) another wonderful tutorial. Thanks so much for sharing.
Good morning and thanks!
I love the addition of Prussian Blue for the sea 🤩
Glad you like it - thanks!
Thank you so much for this. It looks beautiful. Hope you enjoyed your trip to Ireland. I'm English born and reared but I live in Ireland now and have done for over 40 years and I love it here. Hope you enjoyed the Guinness. And your Irish accent made me laugh. I love it. I needed that. You should see the weather here now in Co. Kerry. It's absolutely awful. Winds of about 80mph if not more and constantly pouring rain. So dark and dreary. Ugh. Time to batten down the hatches.! 😅😅 So thank you for this Paul, it really brightened my day and made me smile. Looking forward to next week for watercolour Wednesday. God bless you Paul and Margot from Susan ❤❤❤🇮🇪🎨👍🤗🤗☘☘☘
Glad you like it - thanks so much Susan for this lovely comment!
Brilliant. Glad you added the blue the next day and the music was moving. 👍🏻🎨
Thank you! Cheers!
Many thanks, Paul, for another excellent lesson, I love the painting! PS Long Live Splatter!!!🤩🤩🤗🤗🥳🥳

Hope you enjoyed it!
The first CZcamsr who has mentioned you "slept" on your painting and came back to it to clean it up. Good job!
I create a list of five items to fix, and no more... Otherwise I will end up fussing over it to much. Great painting!
Great tip! and thanks!
Beautiful I love the splattering with the drawing gum
Thanks so much 😊
Beautiful painting with so many textures…that is my preferred masking fluid also

This is absolutely incredible! I’ve been painting watercolour for a year now and never had an urge to paint landscapes but this… this is gorgeous and I feel worth the effort. I will have to try this!
I have been binge watching your videos even though I don’t paint buildings/landscapes. I learn so much about techniques, colour mixing, composition and so much more from watching your videos! Thank you.

Fabulous painting of THE GREEN ISLE🍀☘️🍀
Thanks Arlene
Thanks Paul-another really useful tutorial, you are really appreciated.
Enjoyed this Paul from start to finish a lovely painting, thanks for sharing it Paul
Glad you enjoyed it
Your technique of softening edges with tissue has been very helpful to my painting ~ thank you! I guess it could be a metaphor in life, as well ~💁🏼♀️
Glad it was helpful Sharon!
Fabulous, and if you are on the Slea Head, Dingle Peninsula it's one of the most beautiful parts of Kerry. Every technique you used enhanced the finished painting and it's really beautiful. Have to say I had my glass of Guinness whilst enjoying the video. Every success and thank you so much for sharing all your great tips. You make it look so easy. Slainte agus beannacht.
Wow, thank you!
Such a beautiful painting, Paul. Thank you for this demonstration and the lovely music in the background.
Glad you enjoyed it
Sharon here from The Llyn Peninsula in N Wales. Our landscape is very similar and I can't wait to give this ago! Thanks so much for all your time and effort in teaching us so generously. I wanted to do this one today but we make organci preserves to sell and my hubby says it has to be a work day! Grrrr.
Lol! Have fun!
Love the water, the rocks and everything else. thanks again
Glad you enjoyed it
Thoroughly enjoying your videos and learning more about the intricacies of watercolors.
Thank you so much!
Amazing capture of atmospheric freshness... very beautiful....
Thanks a lot
Absolutely love the greens in this! Somehow I thought a pint of Guinness might make it's way into the proceedings at some point 🤣
Yes, it was a must!!!
I love watercolor Wednesday! It’s my favorite day of the week! What a beautiful painting today- many techniques to practice.
Thank you so much!
Thank you for this beautiful tutorial of the Dingle Peninsula where I have been several times. Ireland is my favourite holiday country and I have to paint this to add it to some paintings on my living room walls which I did from my own photos. Greetings from Germany, Dagmar 💚🇮🇪🍺
You are so welcome Dagmar 💚🇮🇪!

Cheers - much appreciated!
As always, Brilliant. And thanks for listing the colours prior to painting, so helpful.
My pleasure 😊
I love how you keep showing the finished painting next to the unfinished when you take a new step. It really help me see the goal of it.
That was absolutely fabulous
Cheers - much appreciated!
@@ArtbyPaulClarkDo you tend to stay true to a core set of colors in your palette for landscapes and seascapes?
This video is great. Your painting made me smile. It's beautiful. Thanks! (I like your sense of humor.) :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Another fine painting. Yep you didn't have too hard of a time picking today's*break" brewvage.
You're right there!!!

I had to dance with the music for Watercolor Wednesday! This was a great Irish seascape!!! Absolutely loved the music... thank you for sharing!!! From a grateful California Gramma ❤ Loved the touch of Prussian Blue!!! 😊
Glad you enjoyed it Ann!
Love the Irish landscape☘️I have an art journal that I started when I visited and have completed two larger paintings from my photos of the trip.
Great to hear!
What a wonderful landscape!!!❤
Thanks so much!
Thank you so much, once again for such a wonderful demonstration of painting beautiful Dingle Bay of Ring of kerry.
As regular visitor of Ireland, I have visited Dingle bay many times. Now , in my next visit I will try to visit this lovely spot and try to paint on the location ( Offcourse if Irish weather permits ) .
Besides, Dingle bay was a filming location of my favourite English director " David Lean" . His movie Ryan's Daughter " was filmed at Dingle bay in 1971. This just a little information.
Thanks once again.
Glad you like it - thanks!
Thanks for a great tutorial Paul and no flipping boats! Before seeing this I'd just done a little seascape and was quite pleased with my rocks and perspective. It is very dangerous though for beginners like me to try and stick in two seals at the end - it looks like someone flipped a couple of slugs at my picture. Ah well another piece of paper and another adventure! :)
Lol! - love that Karen and may thanks!
Good morning!! ☀️😃 This painting is beautiful!! I’m half Irish ☘️ so I may need to try painting this. The closest I got to Ireland was when I flew over it going to England. I cried just knowing my ancestors were from there. (I guess I can be a wee bit emotional). 🥹
Oh and fyi, I sold my fox painting that I did from your tutorial. I’ll leave a tip for you in your tip jar! 💵 You are always so kind to keep your content free. I appreciate it. I also pray that God blesses you with riches beyond compare. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 You are a blessing to me and so many others. 🥰🥰🥰Much love to you and Margot! ❤❤
Love comment as always Jacquline! - A big thanks for the tip and well done on selling your fox painting too!
Good afternoon, dear and kind Jacqueline! How glad I am, Paul and you, that I met such wonderful people even through the Internet! I love, appreciate, and respect you all very much, despite different views, languages, distances. I even sometimes dream about you and Paul 😉😄🤗😃. I live alone, but I do different things and I don’t get bored. Are your ancestors Irish, Jacqueline and you are probably Catholic and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? My friend Lena emigrated to Ireland since 2003, lives in Mullingar Every year Lena comes to Kaliningrad to visit her daughter and we meet. She talks a lot about Ireland, how she lives and works. She travels all over the world, all continents and is very happy with this life in Ireland!🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹💐💐💐👍👍👍💋💋💋🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌
Jacqueline, you are smart for selling the painting! You made money with your talent and work as an artist! I also sold a lot, but oil paintings on canvas were not expensive.🖼🖼🖼🎨🎨🎨🖌🖍📝✏🖋
The Irish (Celtic) music sounds very beautiful in this video of Paul.🎻🪕🥁🎶🎵🎼☘☘☘☘☘☘☘🇮🇪 🇮🇪 🇮🇪
@@adelabadova3105 I used to be Catholic from birth but about 17 years ago I lost my mom and blamed God. It took 3 years to get over my grief and then started going back to church but a different denomination. After starting bible art journaling in 2015 I really grew in my faith because I was actually reading my Bible. Lol. I know now that God is in control of EVERYTHING and that my own emotions about situations can be calmed down. Now I trust. That’s peace. 🥰 I love how you and I have become friends because of Paul. He’s truly making a community. He loves his students and that’s what’s so cool. He makes us all realize we are a community. ❤️🙏🏻🥰Blessings to you Adela!
Absolutely Amazing. Sooo serene and peaceful. Paul I love landscapes. In person and in painting.
Your techniques if layering to create depth are so wonderful.. you make it look so easy and effortless. Everytime I watch your tutorials I want to jump and grab my paints , but alas it can't happen.
I agree with you on the splattering. It gives such a natural look which you cannot achieve by painting.
Keep them coming. I miss them when you don't. Thank-you for these tutorials. 💖💯
Glad you like it - thanks Sonia!
Great lesson, Mr. Clark. Thank you. I'm reading your fabulous book! Really helpful to reference it while I'm painting and highly recommend it. I will say that using 100 % cotton paper changed the game for me. Color just explodes and moves faster, wet longer, lift-out is easier & the blending is just phenomenal. I can't wait to test out salt on it.
Glad it was helpful!
Your tutorials are such a gift. So inspiring to watch your process and thank you so much for providing the sketch-that’s really helpful to us mere mortals.
Beautiful, I have learnt so much from you. Thank you.
You are so welcome
Thank you for another beautiful demonstration what an awesome gift you have !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching!
Oh goodness, what a lovely surprise! I wasn't expecting a painting this morning since I thought that you and Margot were off on one of your fabulous journeys this week.
But, anytime that you so generously share with us makes it another Wonderful Watercolor Wednesday! And this rendition of the coastland of the Emerald Isle is exquisite! I can feel the warmth of the sunshine on my cheeks, gazing over the deep blue ocean as the gentle breezes carry their salty scent over the dancing daisies.
I've already got my brushes and paper out and ready to give it a go!
As always, thank you! 👩🦳🖌️
Lovely poetic comment Deborah! - many thanks!
🎉🎉 Enthralling colourful touch.
Many thanks!
A great tutorial. Lovely shades of green. I shall definitely have a go at this. Thanks Paul
Have fun!
WOW Paul that’s amazing you have great skills. I’m new to watercolour painting and you inspire me so much. Thank you. I’ve been binge watching your videos for the last month. Brilliant keep them coming 👌👏👏👏
Thank you so much 😀 ... and will do!
Love your tutorials, especially since they are so calming while being so informative. Watching from Milledgeville, Ga.
Glad you like them!
Un paysage vraiment splendide! Merci.
Lovely painting Paul.
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow, another beautiful painting! So many techniques packed in to learn from. Thank you…
My pleasure 😊
Beautiful, as usual, Paul and wonderful watching you create it. I’ve been practicing simple landscapes now for a while and might be brave enough to give this one a try. As always, thank you for teaching me. Linda
Sounds great! Have fun 🤩
Love this. I enjoy your paintings and your teaching technique. You explain things very well.
Thank you so much!
