  • Fans of ours have long known our secret to an "easy" Coyote swap. We've swapped Coyotes into tons of classic Ford trucks here at our shop, and we've found that the best way possible is with an FFG X PBFAB full custom chassis. We do all of the hard work for you here (R&D, building, assembly) so once it gets to you its as easy as plopping your cab on the frame and starting it up. Our new chassis webpage is coming soon, but for now you can hit us up via email to inquire on a chassis of your own. Make sure to follow us on Instagram or Facebook to see the behind-the-scenes on our builds and projects, and subscribe to our channel and hit the little bell icon so you don't miss a video. Thanks for watching.

I got my grandfather's truck man I wish you guys could hook it up. My dad passed before we could do it. I got a feeling this isn't nothing I can afford. Dude you make some beautiful trucks. Love the content.

Obvious Fat Fender does their stuff right
    Can see the quality everywhere
When I finish my 90 crew cab
Gonna find me a 71 Chevy
Will be calling or stopping by Jason

I was really hoping you’d tell us how much that exact package costs! And would you have to do a raised bed for that setup?

Just recently ordered our chassis from Fat Fender Garage for our 66 F100 project. Super stoked for this, it's a father - son project and we are looking forward to this. I think we are pretty level set on knowing where are challenges are going to be (electrical....LOL) but looking forward to working with Jason and crew as we progress.

How much do they cost ? I went on there website but it just says out of stock

@@nathanp12 You will want to talk to Jason about the cost as each build is different. We went with a complete chassis on bags with the fuel tank and we were around 30k minus motor and transmission. We talked to other builders but we were most comfortable with Fat Fender and for us the level that they at with Fords just put them over the top for me and Jason has been great to work with.

What's the approximate estimate for the chassis we see here in this video? Without the wheels.

So speaking from the heart, I'm working on a 59 GMC, I'm in Arizona and wanted to spend my money locally so I went with Porterbuilt. It was the first version of their dropmember for the task force truck. I will say his quality is absolutely fantastic but...the front frame rails were narrowed to use C10 components and this has made my project very difficult. You spoke of headers and I can't find a header that will fit so likely will run a stock manifold. In retrospect if I was to do this again I would just go with a complete chassis where everything like you say is already figured out. I'm very much a novice and have no fear but eleviating some frustration for me right now sounds pretty darn good.

Yep, unfortunately we see this a lot. It usually takes way more work than one thinks.. Which is why we almost always recommend going with a full chassis. However it is definitely possible to get it done! Good luck man thanks for sharing

    I love this approach.
So, I can get this assembled unit shipped or would I have a roller (body) shipped to you?

Maybe soon you will team up with Mast Motor Sports with a Godzilla transplant? How come we never see the most overlooked Ford small block ever, the tall deck Windsor that can be built all the way to 460? Ford Performance has both a Windsor 427 and 460. They also have a 572 big block off the 385 series big block. Just saying.
