Had a conversation with my husband about his disrespectful daughters and told him I was done with this crap. I am very relieved that I dropped this situation and moving on. Divorce is coming.
Damn. This is intense! I’m in co-parenting counseling with my ex husband of 20 years. He left me for another woman, and has been forcing his relationship with her upon me…. Meaning, he is pushing me to communicate with her as a 3rd co-parent. He was flippant in doing so, saying, well, you never loved me (to me)… a perfect excuse to disregard my feelings. And I’ve told him, I need respect from him. And if he wants me to communicate with her, I need that from her too.
I’ve just been sad for so long feeling like she’s taken over my family and what would’ve been my life. Crushing - but I’m standing up to them both, so I can gain my sense of self worth and dignity back.
