- Today we installed so high performance brakes on a mk7 performance package and the end results look amazing and feel amazing. Definatlty recommended this upgrade to everyone with a golf platform. Shout out to FCP Euro for sending this down.

You should not use petroleum products to lubricate the slider, the rubber will swell, use TRW PFG 110
Love the car, love the videos man. Can you make a video showing the GTI going at it with these mods like 60-120 etc… i just crashed my GTI 3 weeks ago😢 had a stage 1 tune and a eqt dsg tune on it, apr intercooler charge pipes , IE intake, apr coil packs and a turbo inlet. Reached 162 mph in under 35 seconds. It was crazy fast for a car at this price point and super reliable too even after the tune. A downpipe and a stage 2 i couldve kept up with hellcats which cost 4x more and interiors still dont look all that. All and all missing my car so much right now lol right before summer it got totaled😅.

I got stock style rotors but have hps hawk pads they work really well 👍
That’s sick. How much were the hawk pads? Are they like a track pad?
@@jacobMMotorsport no they're just a street pad but it's a lot better than stock was thinking of buying some slotted rotors but I think I'll leave that off until I upgrade the turbo cause she stops just fine

The stock rotors are trash lol I put a set of brembo slotted/drilled rotors and pads that are awesome 👌
Sheesh did you have to do the brembo caliper conversion to run the pads and rotors?
@@jacobMMotorsport na, I ordered the pads that fit the stock calipers. No need to go 6 piston if I'm not getting the rotor hot enough. I do like the ceramic 2 piece rotors but idk if I can justify 8k on breaks with only 300hp lol I rather throw in a set of IE rods and pistons
