I just reviewed this too. Such a fantastic paper notebook. Less ghosting than TR paper, still shows sheen, and love the tactile feel

Yeah I can't get enough of the notebook. No matter what I throw it's way, it delivers!

Midori MD notebooks are amazing! The paper is just a dream to write on especially with fountain pens. I also love that the grid is almost a mint green color, it's easier on the eyes than black or gray. At least to me.

Color is so subjective that way isn't it? Take for example there red dot leuchtturms. I love the black dot but the red dots are too distracting for me.
I couldn't agree with you more on the Midori paper. I fall in love with it every time I write or sketch. I'm a relative newbie on my paper journey and can't wait to see if I find something that tops my Midori experience. Cheers

Thanks for showing it with the guide sheet underneath. I had been wondering if it would show through enough. I think you’ve just convinced me to try a blank one. I typically buy lined notebooks, but I don’t like the Mindoro lines version which cuts the page in half.

I love the Kanso Noto notebook from JetPens, and the Everyday notebook from Galen Leather. Both are excellent and I keep going back to them again and again.

Thanks for sharing! I don't have easy access to either one up here in Canada but I'll be sure to pick one up when I drift through the states again. Someone also brought to my attention the Goulet Pens A5 Tomoe Paper Notebook as a good alternative. Thanks for stopping by.

Great video! I recently bought my first Midori in A6 grid (I wanted to try it first before I got a bigger size). One of the things I like is the fact that it's beige/completely neutral. It feels like a blank slate. There's just something about that which appeals to me!

Hey, thanks for the feedback! That's a good point and I completely agree. I didn't talk about the slightly beige color of the paper. I think that's what drew me towards the blank in this notebook. As soon as you open it, you just want to melt your thoughts onto the paper. You'll have to let me know what you think of the A6 size.

I’m not a fan of blank notebooks but I love that u can see thru it does make it more aesthetically pleasing I might try it for my next notebook 📒❤️

Hi Ana. Thanks for stopping by and glad this video helped in your considerations for future buys. If you do try the blank let me know what you think. I'm curious as I prefer blank notebooks over ruled or grid but recently I've started experimenting with ruled to see if I was too hasty in my decision. Take care and have a wonderful day!

MD paper is always reliable! I use all kinds of stuff on it and it never lets me down! (I use it in the form of travelers notebook refills - both MD white and MD cream) Love the vid! 💛

I enjoy writing in my MD A6 notebook. I use a Lamy Safari fountain pen fine line and a Pentel Energel Clena .4 gel pen to write in my notebook without any bleed through nor feathering. Thanks for your video review!

A great review, thank you! The B6 slim version with the grid is one of my perfect diary notebooks. I also love the Fleurir Lab B6 Marshmallow notebooks. They lay flat, and use the new Sanzen TR paper in a cream colour. I get them shipped to me in Canada.

@@StationeryAt4 I buy them from the website. Right now the site says that sales of items will resume later in November. I use google translate because I don't speak Chinese.

Few years ago I bought the 10th anniversary Midori A5 notebook and had no idea it was limited edition. I filled it with nonsense content and regret it so much, haha.. such a shame. It has a green grid on the inside and it looks amazing.

Oh interesting! I'm curious what my 5 year will look like. I'm conscious of being very repetitive or focusing on one mood day after day. We'll have to compare notes when I'm done.
      Have a lovely day!

    "hold my muji b5"!
in all seriousness, try the muji notebook paper bro, its much much better. in the category of midori which is toothy and textured. i havent come across a paper thats more textured but also feather resistant, bleed resistant, off white. its debest.

Hello! Thank you for your videos! Just wanted to find out when you use your TN and when you use this notebook? Any tips on what one is better for versus the other based on your experience?

    • @StationeryAt4
      @StationeryAt4  Před rokem +2

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by and for your question. With my setup, I use the TN mostly as constantly carry around notebook for quick notes and sketches as it's designed with travel and portability in mind. With my Midori, I tend to use it only for my journal (longer writing sessions or sketches) and I keep it stationery on my desk or in my Galen Leather A5 Portfolio. Let me know if that answers your question. I'm happy to share more.
Warm wishes and have a great day!
