@@ngeee10 Yes i do agree but i believe that is much harder for the government to regulate/provide, the others are totally possible. But yes if possible, affordable housing should be granted.
Next level FI discussion. It’s about human liberation and wellbeing.
I wish people would quit thinking of things like healthcare for all and affordable or free college as handouts. We all benefit from a society where people are well-educated and don't have their financial lives ruined by healthcare costs. Even those people who don't benefit directly from these changes will benefit indirectly. Although, most people will benefit directly.
Nothing is free. To get free healthcare and free education the government must raise income taxes. Are you willing to pay more tax than what you're currently paying?
Or the government should just make different priorities for our taxes. We pay as much if not more income, sales, inheritance, local, state, property taxes in addition to Healthcare and education as countries that provide good free or very cheap Healthcare and education. Americans should stop listening to TV and learn how other humans live
We need to redo our healthcare and higher ed system first. Right now most of the population is so sick and big pharma and the whole structure of how we do medicine in the US is inefficient and expensive. Our higher ed is so expensive because they've really become bloated and have built lazy rivers and rock-climbing walls. We have to change how we do these 2 things to the way they're done in France or Scandinavia for example. We need good preventative healthcare so people aren't living with chronic and expensive conditions like diabetes and excellent education delivered in shabby buildings and on basic campuses.
Social Security is going broke and this leftyloon wants to give everybody free healthcare, free education AND FREE MONEY. You madame, live in f’ing LALAAAAAAAA LAND
Who is going to provide those services ? Humans right? Why should anyone become doctor, educator if the other option is not do to anything?
Many benefit from"this" thats why it is like it is.
And who is gonna provide that care if everyone wants to retire ?
Government money is taxpayer money. No college money; no problem, go to free vocational school and make $40 an hour as a plumber, Or get a Liberal Arts degree and make $12.00 per hour at Starbucks.
