    I agree with almost all of them. Super Mario Bros worked more on the fact of the rest of the cast and not being focused on Pratt's Mario.
    The dull costumes are the least important issue with the X-Men movies. Dark Phoenix shouldn't have been made into a movie. I don't understand why filmmakers insist on pushing that story when it is impossible to do in a single movie. In the comics, the Dark Phoenix saga took around 4 years to develop. That's the time from the arrival of the Phoenix force to Dark Phoenix actually appearing.
    I still say Terminator 3 gets unnecessary hate. It is still the only logic next step in the story. There are basically 2 outcomes with time travel, you either create multiple universes or you end up with a paradox. Terminator showed the paradox. If you go back in time to change an event and succeed, there is no reason to go back in time anymore. Since you eliminated the reason to go back in time, nobody went back to stop the problem which means the future you wanted to stop ends up happening.
    The only one I disagree with is the last one. You need the people to be the focus of the monsterverse as they are witnessing what is transpiring. If you only focus on the monsters, all you are going to do is follow them around fighting each other and screaming. While Godzilla and co are the main point, the story is also about how humanity needs to find a way to coexist with these monsters.

    Was really intrigued when the lead cast from the original Jurassic Park trilogy was coming back for the final Jurassic World film and meeting the protagonists of the JW series. I was looking forward to seeing the interaction off of them and the contrast of different viewpoints, especially from characters like Alan Grant and Owen Grady. I wanted to see what debates an aged paleontologist could get into with a younger raptor trainer and how their own perspectives on dinosaurs, especially regarding raptors, could clash together. Something that would’ve made the inclusion of the OG characters actually INTERESTING and not just for fan service or nostalgia clickbaiting, but that was too much to hope for. You could probably guess how disappointment when I saw the film in theaters.

    It's a double edged sword, that excitement from fans. I'm actually more likely to get excited over a WB production than a Disney one at this point. Mostly because WB isn't shy about killing bad movies, whereas Disney will just put crap out there for the unsuspecting audience to waste their time with.
    Also, is our narrator seriously calling movies he's never seen, boring? And also took shots at Pratt's Italian accent in Mario, a film where they did Brooklyn accents, not Italian?

But I know I would have at least given the cancelled projects a look. They might have been awful, but I certainly had more excitement for all of the ones you mentioned than I did for the Flash, which I was planning on skipping even before they cancelled things for taxes. i argue against your humans argument in the monsterverse.
    jia and her connection to kong is brilliant writing.
    while in gxk i wish it had focused on godzilla more, as kong has been the primary focus of the last 2 movies, it doesnt make her a bad character.
    the biggest human problems of the monsterverse is because godzilla king of the monsters humans just plain sucked. millie bobby browns parents were boring and her mom's turn to the evil side was so lame. charles dance's bad guy was so meh. not because of him, but because he was so stereotypical bad guy.
    godzilla 2014, killed off bryan cranston too early but ken watanabe who was also in kotm was brilliant still.
    rebecca hall has been okay.
    dan stevens in gxk was also hilarious.

    • @Ceares
      @Ceares Před 26 dny

      Yeah but Godzilla 2014's focus on the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver and the soldiers was boring. I mean it's about 50/50 at this point...each movie has some characters that enhance the movie while sporting a bunch more that are useless or actively drag it down. Like I legitimately don't even remember what the hell Millie Bobby Brown, Tyree Henry and that boy were doing there in GxK.

    • @deepwaterlife48
      @deepwaterlife48 Před 25 dny

      @@Ceares okay first off, while godzilla 2014, had elizabeth olson "scarlet witch" and aaron taylor johnson "quicksilver" olson's role was minimal, johnson was one of the lead human's and while slightly dull he wasnt terrible. bryan cranston should not have been killed off so early. ken watanabe was still fantastic as were his team. they sold the parts.
      second. jia, is a girl. she was the sole survivor of skull island, and she provided a much needed through line for kong in gvk and gxk. she is probably the best human in the monsterverse outside of watanabe. she signifies that kong is the protector of the people of earth, while godzilla is the protector of the creatures.
      tyree henry was the oddball comic relief from gvk and is basically supposed to represent part of the audience, do you believe some of the conspiracies? do you not believe some of the conspiracies. what is real? what is fake? you have these crazy huge monsters that have appeared out of nowhere all of a sudden and you have this corporation that is suddenly claiming control and demanding we listen to them.
      millie bobby brown wasnt in gxk, she was in godzilla kotm and gvk. she was the daughter of the two scientists. her mother and father split up over the death of their son (MBB's brother), her father tried working for the good guys, her mother sided with the bad guys to unleash king ghidorah thinking that if all titans were unleashed it would teach the world a lesson and reset nature to beginning. except ghidorah isnt from earth.
