    In this video, you will learn how to animate objects in Twinmotion. This is new as of 20202.2 and comes pack with so many options to animate an object. This is done by translating or rotating. All the settings that go into customizing animations in Twinmotion are covered in the video.
    Please leave comments and questions below and I will get back to you!
    Thanks for watching!

      @@ArchitectureVanguard great vids bro... In twinmotion and other softwares as well... But i think we can both agree that" twinawesome" is unarguably one if not the fastest growing rendering softwares of our generation .... Keep it up.. Hope that more great additions r on d way...
      Maybe
      -snow system affected by car and pedestrian path.
      -animation rendering with sounds and music.
      -more dynamic gates system
      -dynamic windows such as the already existing doors.or maybe doors that can b scaled less than 1.8
      -etc😉😎🎯🏆👍🏻

    Oh man thank you so much for this video!! I just can't seem to create and exporting a short video that includes these translators and rotators. Maybe I am missing something? Or is Twinmotion missing this feature lol.

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 3 lety

      You are welcome! That is quick difficult. You can add delays or change the triggers for the animations but the problem is, whatever animations you have will begin (not always be triggered) but start over when you export a video. I had plenty of difficulties when trying to get an animation to export how I want. You might have to add scene states and change lots of visibilities throughout the animation.

      I scoured through your videos after I posted the comment and found a video where you where doing a building animation and struggling with this issue, what a nightmare 😂 hopefully it gets better with updates

      I think it will to be honest! I will definitely give it another shot as I did come close. I believe now having the option of have animations in phasing changes everything but we shall see.

    Can you snap the rotation tool to make sure is in an exact spot or you just go by eye?
    Also, can the same object have a translator and a rotation applied to it? Perhaps triggered at different times?
    Finally, I noticed that if I update the model, the objects linked to the animators lose the link and need to be re-linked. What am I doing wrong?

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před rokem +1

      You can put in a specific rotational value per element. You can have multiple animations. Could be hard to manage but you can do it. Might have to add the object with the first translator to your user library before adding the second.

    Hi man. Is possible to move an object in 2 axis? Before Y Axis and next in X axes. I want move a drower in 3D automatic vertical warehouse. Thank you

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 3 lety

      Hey, I believe it is but it might not be as easy as you want. I cannot remember this honestly but I may have something like that in my advanced animations video. You might have to link an object with animation to another animation. My guess is you tried that. You might first link an animation to an object then save it to you user library, bring it in and attempt to add a second animation. Hope one of those helps!

  • @arender6537
    @arender6537 Před 3 lety

    How to adjust the radius of the rotator and the orientation of the axis? Because sometimes the rotation radius of the object will be smaller, and it may not be the standard XYZ axis

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 3 lety

      It unfortunately stays the same size relative to your screen so zooming in or out wont really help. That is just the way it is. Generally it goes to the base point or some central point. There is not a great way to control that wither unless you created the model yourself.

    • @arender6537
      @arender6537 Před 3 lety

      @@ArchitectureVanguard I found that the translator could not link to the model created in Sketchup. Is it not allowed here?

    Is there anyway of showing some animations of say an arrow to symbolise flow of water throgh a pipe?

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 3 lety

      I am curious if you could choose a decal to animate instead of an object. This would be easy to use an arrow. But if you want a 3D arrow, then You can simply model a 3D arrow, then just add the arrow to your user library. Then you can add that to an animation or even a custom path. After writing this all, you may be better off just adding that arrow to a custom path.

      @@ArchitectureVanguard I have just been having a play about with custom paths trying onto a a couple of lengths of pipe running in a few different detections the first problem I have with the pipes only being a couple of inchs in diameter a running a few feet in 1 direct the custom path tool complete surrounds it it is so big the placement tool. then i thought i would try and place mulplite translators running in different directions but that just got very messy, it would be could if you could say draw a translator or if it could attach to say a pipe :) any ideas of what could be a work around? cheers

    hey is that true that not every object from twinmotion can gaet tranlated (moved with translator tool) ?
    in example, i was try to move my bed with translator, and it cant
    btw follow ur tutorial, its workk, but just for the sanitary batroom only, juast like what u do i cant follow and learn from it

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 3 lety +1

      Assuming what you are trying to translate is an object, then it should allow you to link the object to the translator. You may not be able to translate an entire model unless you import it as a single object in the import options.

    So can we make a skydrop effect like lumion in twinmotion ?

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 3 lety

      Are you referring to adding your own "sky dome" or texture for a sky? If that is the case then technically no we cannot. There are some terrible workarounds but I believe a custom sky map is on the Twinmotion roadmap.

    • @lega3855
      @lega3855 Před 3 lety

      @@ArchitectureVanguard no i mean, the sky dorp is just some thing that can make a thing or object can move from the sky, down to the groud, the skydrop is just a name from the lumion feature to make an object move like fall from the sky

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 3 lety +1

    I want to make a simulation of rainfall. It's raining from the sky and the site is slightly sloped, so I want to make a flowing video.

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 2 lety

      That will be difficult to impossible in Twinmotion. The best luck you might have is modeling a thin element on top of other elements on the slope that you can apply a water material to so that it would simulate flowing water.

    How do you move the water? Please give me some advice.

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 2 lety

      You can always make a larger surface that is water so it appears to extend farther. You can also move or animate an object that has a water surface to it!

    • @kyokokawai5558
      @kyokokawai5558 Před 2 lety +1

      Yes. si, si. That's right. The back of the screen. Puddle? river? Why is it moving the surface of the water? I want a comment.

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 2 lety

      There are water material options that can make it appear to not be moving. But I would look to use a huge plane or geometry at the edge of your scene for the water.

      You can use that using the translation animation. Add the object to it and just alter the rotation of the animation just like any other object.
