Cisco WLC 9800 in VMware Workstation | English

In this Video we will be looking in how to setup a Cisco WLC 9800 in VMware Workstation. We will be setting up a lab in a desktop/laptop. I will be using a OVA file and then installing it in my VMware workstation.
Then we will do the initial configuration to bring the controller UP. So that we will get in to the dashboard.

Here's a question for you... why on earth is my VM running so fast that I cannot type in the user name password config??? Yours is super slow but mine is every 2 seconds and I cannot type in the command... How on earth do I slow it down or stop it from showing that IOS thread disabled interrupt error???????
It's beyond frustrating!

Hello! I have the issue that when I install the ISO, then there is no Gigabit interfaces. Only VLAN1, and of course I cannot get an IP address using dhcp.
I managed to get a log on the console that says, "device eth0 not found" "eth1 not found" and so on.
Did this happen to you?
I am using vmware workstation free.

Nope it worked fine for me. Maybe the image is corrupt. Please try re-downloading and check.

Couple of things, you downloaded the OVA file but I had to use the ISO. DId you record this on the toilet I can hear the echo and farting. And my god what is that screaming in the background at 3:35 sounds like a dog being murdered!!
