We did the test on another cooler! It works as advertised as said in the video. We have used it on the boat many times. IT WORKS AS ADVERTISED. I told Eric this repeatedly, but he doesn't listen.

I agree i would like to see how it keeps cool out in the sun or sitting in a hot vehicle all day or other real world situations. Durability is important but most guys buy a cooler cause they dont want their drinks and food rocking 100 degrees and making their sandwiches soggy.
It will last 2 days in the sun no problem

Maybe try the ice test before you cut it in half, and you might keep some band aids handy.
Cool look at the inside of the cooler, but the ice test would have been much COOLER if you catch my drift....

Reviews should be useful. As in: I buy a cooler to keep stuff cold. Not to cut into pieces or to use as a hammer. I see you guys addressed that after the fact. a review is supposed to be useful. Not entertaining.
I got one and set it on top of a asphalt paver while working. Its hot on the machine and in the summer it can get around 120 degrees. I fill it with a few drinks and some food. The other half is ice. In my work environment ice lasts about 8 hours in the heat. I have the small cooler with the strap. After a year the box held up but the strap broke off from one side. Also the bottom corners started to break from setting it down. I give it a 6 out of 10. Not a bad price and will work better for someone who uses it in a not so rough environment like I did.
I’d be happy to test it on the railroad and see if it can handle the beating
Yeti's are targets. No one (who is anyone) uses them as coolers anymore.
Why is the foam so much thinner at the front of the cooler? Wouldn't it be better if it was even all over?

Another reviewer got about 36 hours out of this with 10lbs of ice, which is about 12 hours longer than a cheap 24 hour cooler.
IIRC Yeti coolers don’t use foam, they use a vacuum.
This is accurate. Temperature has a lot of trouble passing through a vacuum. #TiACrew

Put it out in the hot sun, on a hot humid Chicago day. You will not get 30 hours of keeping things cold.
Maybe that's why he didn't want to test that. Because he knew it would't keep it cold for that long.
