HP Velotechnik Scorpion FS20 new frame day for @sylviahalpern Timelapse

- @Sylviahalpern has been riding her faithful trike, Myrtle all over the world for over a decade and many thousands of miles.
In this timelapse we remove Myrtle's drive train, motor, suspension, and other components to transplant them on her well-earned new frame.
Sylvia's trike is an HP Velotechnik Scorpion FS20 with a Shimano STEPS electric assist motor, a Rohloff Speedhub, and a Son Nabendyno generator hub with headlight.
Her trike is also equipped with a RockShox air shock, a rear rack, dual batteries, HP's Premium ErgoMesh seat, and a Finer Recliner neckrest from T-Cycle.

Wow! Just in time for the big trip. Was a brisk 42 degrees here in southern Michigan but I took my new Ice Adventure HD out for it’s maiden ride. 2 laps around my country block for 12 miles total. Just a little shake down but I think I’m gonna like her. Big upgrade from my TerraTrike Rover.

could you show how you hooked up the trike to that pole? loved to do that set up at home it would keep me off the floor sometimes working on my trike?
The repair stand is made by EVT (efficient velo tools) in Portland, OR.

Why add old components to a new frame? Why not just go with a new trike.
Most of the components are not as old as the frame. Sylvia has made many upgrades over the years, many of them in recent years. Some components, like the Rohloff Speedhub and the Son Nabendyno generator hub will last for many, many years and tens or even hundreds of thousands of miles if cared for adequately.
