does not look like keaton at all, and that kinda bugs me as I preordered. I hate to be that dude but the proto pics look nothing like final. Almost like a temu batman. He looks kinda like robocop. This is all my opinion on the faceplate. I can live with the rest
youre not wrong dude, they fumbled this release really bad, i have 2 weeks to decide if i want to cancel my pre order
@@thrasher2753 I guess the only thought for me by keeping it would be flipping it. But really bummed as I missed original release. But maybe I can just live with my neca 1/4 and mini mezco batman. My real wish would be if jazz inc made a batman figure lol

Hi Dan, danke für die Review. Freut mich, dass die Figur so schnell bei dir ankam, damit man sich auch mal einen bewegten und räumlichen Eindruck von der Figur machen kann. Leider muss ich sagen, dass Hot Toys die Zeit zwischen den beiden Auflagen einfach nicht genutzt hat und viel Potenzial auf dem Boden hat liegen lassen. Ja, die Form der Cowl scheint nun akkurater zu sein, das Cape wirkt auch nicht mehr so aufgeblasen und auch die Base gefällt mir besser als die invertierte Version der Erstauflage.
Aber keine Ahnung was sich Hot Toys bei dem Anzug und seiner Struktur gedacht hat - schon bei der Erstauflage. Der Suit ist im Film weitaus glatter und formschöner. Die Ähnlichkeit zu Keaton ... puh, ja... hier und da vielleicht, wenn man blinzelt... was daran liegt, dass der Mund zu weit unten sitzt. Der Gürtel hat wieder eine falsche Farbe, denn dieser hat nicht die Farbe des Emblems, sondenr ein senfgelb/gold-Gemisch. Schade, schade - da hätte Hot Toys mit so viel Zeit und Erfahrung wirklich eine ultimative Figur kreieren können und hat sich bei Verbesserungen nur auf Oberflächlichkeiten beschränkt - und dabei sind es doch die Details, die eine Hot Toys ausmachen.
P.S.: Die Kapseln sind nicht für die Gauntlet, sondern Rauchkapseln, die er in Axis Chemicals und dem Flugelheim Museum geworfen hat um sich aus dem Staub zu machen. ;-)
@@batman-news Ja es wurde viel Potential liegen gelassen da muss ich dir recht geben. Mit dem Gürtel ist es seltsam weil bei der Returns Version die richtige goldene Farbe verwendet wurde. Ich habe bei Hot Toys grundsätzlich das Gefühl, dass wenn es sich nicht um den Nolan Batman handelt automatisch weniger Mühe reingesteckt wird was sehr schade ist. Ich meine der Batman Forever Robin war auch nicht wirklich Film akkurat. Aber was will man machen Inart wird erstmal keinen 89er rausbringen und prime1 ist viel zu teuer 😅.
in some ways the previous version is better, I find it absurd.
@@DarkArynLand I think the headsculpt/cowl looks better but everything else at least seems to be somehow improved.

It’s some semi soft plastic that’s sadly all I can tell you. Similar to the returns batman from Hot Toys.
