This band has been an important step and an irrefutable mark of the highest and most brilliant vibes in the alternative scene. What played by Placebo is flawless and breathtaking as ever; I start freaking out as soon as I assume that's Brian's band on stage. Sincerely I feel let down about their latest work because it doesn't comply with my expectations and it gets aloof from the typical Placebo sound, like an outrage towards the keenest and most faithful fans and a scary lack of dedication. i have no purpose to bash them because my life runs around their anthems but I can't deny how harmful an akin change of style could be. The crowd is energetic, anyway!
I agree that their latest work doesn't come close to their songs before the battle for the sun album. Placebo were the first band I ever saw live at Wembley when Robert Smith came out of nowhere and sang with Brian on stage.
@@rgbling Never Let Me Go is a masterpiece of an album. Dark, Bleak and with some tints of hope. Brian Molko totally stating loud and clear his misanthropy and meds not being protagonists of the downfall but necessary friends to cope with the shithole we call our world.
How could anyone not like this song?? God, I love it!! They are coming to Denver in a month and I will definitely be there in the front row singing every song at the top of my fucking lungs!!!
This is off soulmates never die the dvd. However this was back in 03. They play sold out shows all over the world, you would not believe there shows now! they also have played some of the biggest festivals in the world, a lot, as head liners too!!!!! I'm 35 so I have seen them grow into incredible musicians and still stay true to there music!
got into Placebo after hearing Every You, Every Me in Cruel Intentions...that opening scene, and got hooked. listened to Meds album first....loved every song, got me through a bad breakup in '06, then Sleeping with Ghosts and Without You I'm Nothing. I wish I discovered them earlier on to truly appreciate them during their peak. This is always a band I circle back to, it's just different and so unique, I love it.
OH yea and Placebo fans are very loyal, they don't run around trying to recruit fans because they don't have to! We are here and growing. If you were around in 97 or so and saw them then watch like We come in pieces you will see them kick ass just as hard. Try Placebo live at Montruex 07",sorry bout spelling, but its one of my favs!!!
cheers love, I guess I thought i might be his flava! you know, got special needs, but "flash photography and SCREEEAAMZZZ!" remember me, always, Placebo needs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This guy isn't playing it like in the studio version either, and I guess he was the the drummer who has recorded the drums. The hi-hat in the studio song are kinda syncopated, accentuating 2 nd 6, not 1 and 3, giving you the feel of a 8/8, not a 4/4 like in this live versions. But hey, I'm kinda drunk so just ignore me and enjoy fucking Placebo!
If you feel strange or unloved, you are beautiful and not forgotten
Jesus loves you ... but since he is in the middle of a poker game right now with Muhammad and Buddha, turn to Kagutsuchi
You dumb

Remember Me, Special Dreams
I consider it the best version.
even better than the album version.
Esta canción me acompañó en tantos momentos tristes, da un poco de melancolía
Estoy ahorita mismo en una situación de conflictos emocionales, y créeme que es una de las primeras canciones que busco.
Ça peut se comprendre !!!!!!
Song hits me in the stomach every time
watching this still.......in 2020
One of my favorite Placebo songs and this concert in Paris is one of the best Placebo concerts for me!
