this is great detail! I love it
Thanks for watching Perry, big fan of your videos!
You mentioned the cow corpse possibly alluding to Diablo's cow level, but I'm surprised you didn't mention the Jahith Bear is a reference to the Diablo runeword Jah Ith Ber
I noticed it after the fact :(
There are honestly so many easter eggs in the game so far and more I've heard of/intend to find. I'll make a video on ALL of them soon!
absolutely fantastic work, thank you so much for this.
Thanks so much for watching
Great work❤
So glad you enjoyed Chapter 1! If you continue the series ask any questions or post any theories, I love talking about the lore 😁
what an awesome videos, i missed few details in my playthrought. cant wait to listen to the rest !
Glad you enjoyed! I'm working on Chapter 7/9 in the series as we speak, thanks so much for watching my stuff
@@GavrynGaming wonderful ! keep up the good work ! cant wait to see the next episodes
Im just 5 min in, and I can already tell this will be a great series of videos. Continue the good work!
Thank you! I have no plans of stopping anytime soon, onto Chapter 5 now with a few detour videos along the way and SO much content planned once we're done covering the main story. That's when the theories and speculations truly begin :)
Nice overview! I like the addition of the readable notes since that kind of stuff is easily overlooked zooming through during gameplay.
So glad that didn't seem like filler, I thought it was important to the story development too!
Not sure if I missed it in the video but the jahith bears are a reference to the Enigma runeword in D2 that grants you the teleport skill. Made from the runes JAH-ITH-BER.
@@reffo Nice find!! That's a definite easter egg I missed in my early journeys and heard about later on!
I wish I had played more D2 in my younger years! I was already consumed by MMOs at that time 🤣
@@GavrynGaming Yeah, it's a subtle pun! Anyway good job on the videos. Keep it up!
@@reffo Thanks a ton for watching! 1.1 and the Harbingers will bring even more lore to cover!
Glad to see someone covering the lore, because I happen to be very interested the lore of the setting.
I'm glad I'm not alone in this, thanks so much for watching!!
nice!!! been looking for a good lore video for LE, found it!!!!
Already working on Chapter 3! Thanks for watching
Great video. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Wow, im surprised YOu didnt find the lore room in the store room, its one of the most significant lore drops I think
In the room before the final encounter, on the ramps where the 3 archers are positioned there are barrels piled on a small elevation that you can destroy to reveal a path to what seems like the corpse of am immensly large human, maybe even someone from imperial era somehow with an apple in their hands. Ill leave the rest to you as I dont wanna spoil what the note there tells
This was early in my lore hunting career! Haha I'll be going back and doing a complete easter egg/secret video after this Chapter series. Thanks so much for another to add to my growing list and thank you for watching! :)
@@GavrynGaming Also another thing i picked up on recently and may interest You
For the longest i wondered why the traveler is invited to the peacetalks to begin with and how is it the keepers were informed by their "heoborean allies"
And than it clicked, Even tho at the beginning we havent met her technically, it seems like at a point we travel back to Divine Era even before Rayeh attacks Heorot because the only "Heoborean ally" who could have informed the keepers of our coming is Julia. Seemingly shortly before the start of the story, we already met Yulia. its either that when we travel back to Divine Era for second time, we arrive BEFORE Balthas fuks everything up and Julia probably writes the letter to the keepers after the death of Majasa in the current last act. I suspect when she wrote the letter, in her mind we already had the spear blessed by the other 3 gods and shes telling the keepers we are going there to end Rayeh (probably)
@@laszloneumann500 The armorsmith (vendor) in the town of Heoborea is the same armorsmith that we first met in the Traveler's Camp/Keeper's Camp in Chapter 1. Their name is Isfarger: www.notion.so/gavslastarchive/GavrynGaming-s-Last-Epoch-Storyline-Playthrough-Campaign-0-9-2Q-Beta-ALL-Dialogue-Included-aa0c6787d6f741bab6501332fa9358bc?pvs=4#da99426c59574b19ba274706ea8533d4
When we arrive in Chapter 7 (we arrive at the Gates of Solarum, into the Burning Forest and into the Scroched Grove) where we see Heorot get dealt a final blow by Rahyeh, it's thus assumed to be after the events of the Keeper's Camp and Balthas based on the dialogue between us and Isfarger right?
wait, how was Balthas able to send us to the future? doesn't the epoch need to be complete to time travel?
Thanks for watching! I'll try to explain :)
After rescuing Balthas from Orian we talk to them a bit regarding the Epoch, its power, the Keepers task to protect it etc.
Balthas says "One cannot use a single shard to manipulate time as they wish. Not even we (the Keepers) know the Epoch's full potential."
Balthas now carries 2 shards with him, but they aren't combined, they're still separated. He combined them back at camp after saying "I only have two shards, but that's enough, I'll keep them safe. Leena, I'm sorry."
He knew that 2 shards were enough to open a Time Rift though its accuracy in travel and results are a bit unpredictable. We were sucked into the Time Rift with him as we were standing right next to Balthas. I don't think he intended or even knew that we came with him through the rift.
In Chapter 2 you'll find out a bit more about Balthas' recollection of events in the future!
@@GavrynGaming a bit of plot holes but thanks for the videos keep em coming
