INGREDIENTS
Milk tea base
6 cups milk
2 tablespoons loose black tea leaves (or 4 tea bags)
3 tablespoons light brown sugar
Ice cubes
Tapioca pearls
1/4 cup (65ml) water
1/4 cup (45g) muscovado sugar, or another dark brown sugar
7/8 cup (110g) tapioca starch, plus more for dusting
1 cup water (for braising syrup)
1/2 cup muscovado sugar, or another dark brown sugar (for braising syrup)

So i made it, it was not hard but it consumed a lot of time (if you are making it with someone it could be fun) the final product was not worth all the hassle. It was good but just to drink it once or twice feels like a waste of time.

There is literally a standard milk tea that every tea/boba shop makes and when you go online they are all weird heavy milk, no tea, def not the standard that everyone makes.
Someone link me a recipe please. (I'm just going to have to work at a boba shop for a weekend to learn it myself at this point haha.)

Pretty sure you can make it with any tea so you should try matcha or taro milk tea. Both are really good.

I have never been able to taste boba, but I saw a bottled soda that had some balls on the bottom and tought it might be boba.
