This is what the piece is trying to make you feel, got something to do with how Taki forgot about the girl in the movie right
The first time i watched it, the part near the end when she fell down and couldn’t remember his name, she remembered that he wrote something in her hand, at first i thought “Taki” was the one written but it was “I love you”
Every detail of them were to be erased because when they left the underworld they had to get rid of something important which was the memories of each other. Had he written his name it would have dissapeared from her hand. So he wrote i love you instead

I mean finding that person who fills that thing that’s just been missing, and they like just by their being inspire you to just get better, no matter at what your doing, but for all the highs you might have in life which finding that person who fills that void is certainly a high, while it’s not always inevitable or doomed to fail, the lows eventually come. I guess you know you’ve found that because it doesn’t really ever stop hurting when it gets taken away. But at the same time even if that hurts when it’s taken away or that void that person filled isn’t able to be filled by someone else you also know that it was real when you wouldn’t trade it still or go back in time and change you ever meeting even if it didn’t work in the end and you just hope that they are out there somewhere living their best life and happy.
This sound and the movie legit made me want to change my life completely

This was probably my first Non-Studio Ghibli, anime film. And I have to say, it's quite possibly one of the most beautiful animated films I have ever seen.
