They both are personal air coolers, they are not effective when it comes to cooling down the entire room, they are effective for providing air to 1 or 2 persons only, who sit close to its range.

We would rather suggest, go for Crompton as they are in the air cooler market since very long and their service network is pretty good plus their cooler air throw is phenomenal as well.
We suggested you Crompton because they are currently present on Amazon, not out of stock and otherwise if you be able to get bajaj dmh 90 or symphony air cooler they are far better.

Why do you want a 50 litre capacity air cooler only.
In a hostel it would be a great hassle to refill your cooler twice or even thrice a day with such a small capacity water tank size.
In this hot summer, for a hostel room especially before suggesting you an air cooler, it's important to ask, if your room has any ventilation source. Because only if there is any ventilation, the cooler will be effective and can be used to its full potential.

I can not fill a 70 or 80 L tank at once because I have to fill it with bucket only that's why I only want a 50L or less capacity desert cooler😓
I can understand the pain of hostlers , being an engineer by myself.
If there is an issue, that filling a full water tank at once is not possible, then you can even run an air cooler with a half tank . Why I am saying this is because the big size air cooler comes with big cooling pads which results in better and effective cooling.
Rest Crompton optimus desert air cooler comes in a smaller size as well. And symphony sumo 75 xl ( if you can go with 75 litre ) is an effective cooler.
But one thing please keep in mind that symphony after sales service is not good in all the cities across India. But its cooling is unmatchable (it's phenomenal).
However, Crompton optimus 65 litre desert air cooler after sales service is way far better.

Hello Ankit, aise toh koi cooler nahi hai jisme bilkul dikkat na ho, har ak cooler Aaj ki date ma Jo available hai inka pads kholna thoda tough bhi hai or cleaning karna bhi, but Haan drainage hole ki vajeh se drainage easy hai. Still symphony sumo 75 xl thoda literally bilkul thoda ( a liitle bit only) easy hai clean karna agar aap iska pichla pad khol lo ( Jo ki first time kholna aapko thoda tough lagega). Baki cleaning karna toh yes thoda tough hai hi but iska sabhi pads khul jate hai.
