- Project 360 swing is in full swing but not without its issues, the original idea of having 2 arms went out the window with 1 arm nearly breaking the winch system. Then faced with one arm i had some serious flex issues making the whole thing look like a future killing machine but we carried on and think we have something that won't break although in the next part when you see the tests i have some alarming footage that shows just how much stress this thing is under.

I have made a smaller trebuchet (able to fling 5-10 pounds) and I can say just based off scale/weight that if he weighted it down properly, it could throw ~80 pounds 1k ft.

They're the same cheap crap as Ridgid and Milwaukee. They come out of the same factory.
First of all, they're NOT 'cheap crap' they are remarkably reliable tools for the price point. Secondly, while they are OWNED by the same company, they are not the same as Ridgid/Milwaukee. All 3 lines of tools are built for different customer types. Ryobi is for beginner/moderate DIYers, Milwaukee is for advanced DIYers, and Ridgid is for commercial applications.

Seems to be dumb to me as well. I would test it thorougly with a dummy and after many rounds get yourself on it in a 5-point harness. Just standing on these pegs is suicide.
Centrifugal force

+Speed Runner I know what centrifugal force is, but what if his grip slips anywhere above the upper 180degree arc? That foot slot could just act as a catch and keep him stuck there as he slams into the ground on the return or he could just go flying off of it altogether.
He will never get enough speed to do the centrifugal force thing. And if he did get enough centrifugal force to stay up in the top, he would collapse by the G forces + gravity at the bottom.
