Exactly!! This is what I learned yesterday in my memory foam mattress bed, after having slept on the floor for two weeks: I have no feeling of proprioception on a memory foam mattress! I felt no pressure at all and I didn't know where my body was! It was crazy mentally uncomfortable! I couldn't fall asleep so I went back to the floor (not a pure floor, though. I use thick yoga mat and a folded blanket). I cover myself with a weighted blanket, so this way I can totally feel my body and I receive pressure from both sides.
@@TehLiquidthis is interesting. My silly self would have though the resistance between yourself and the floor would created a greater gravitational tension on your spine than it would on your bed. But how does the bed encourage a straighter spine?
I'm tired of seeing positive comments saying "doing the thing in this video helped me so much" I've been sleeping on the floor for the past few days. One without pillow and one with. I can not discern any noticeable positive differences. In fact, where as before I had no noticeable pains or discomforts upon awakening, now I have one in my neck and in my back. It goes away not too long after. But the sleep quality is also not there. I'm still waking up tired. Oh well. I suppose I'm onto the next possible solution to my sleep problems -- been having them for my whole adult life.

'if your sleeping on side have pillow between legs but make sure one leg is this way to support that part'. i had no problem day 1 or day 2 or day 3 but I'm not really seeing any benefits during the day. also, I'm waking up many times during the night compared to sleeping on my mattress. how old are you, btw?
It's not a magical cure bro. And depending upon the root cause you may never see improvement in your condition, but that doesn't mean it don't have its own benefits

Sleeping on the floor/hard surface is literally the ideal sleep for humans and other mammals, just don't fool anyone else with your stupid shorts, no exercise or bed will correct your posture like sleeping on floor

Sleeping on the floor is great for back pain and breathing ive done it for months and feel 100 times more rested then when i was on a bed.

How long does it take gravity to flatten the over curves in spine?
it doesn't, the curve in your spine is the default state of your spine, conventional beds are what's removing the curves, not floor sleeping.

If ground cause pain because it destoryed curvature i f dont have curvature anymore its bullshit i always get poor sleep as hell wtf bed is 100better
