Bruh I raced a novice series Friday night that was on the ams version, so I came home from work and got on that one for like 30 minutes before the race then raced and went to bed. Next day I tried the pro version and holy hell this one was tough. I usually hate the ams version but tbh this one was better than the pro imo, not cause it was easier but because it was closer to the real track this year. Thunder valley to me seemed pretty smooth as far as bumps and a lot of corners didn't really have ruts. Anyway, I did 2 different novice series this weekend and I believe I went 7th overall in both, ik that's nothing but it felt good to finally be able to make some well-organized races
I think just flowing around the track initially, letting the bike take me where it wants to go and not trying to immediately find the fast lines or predict anything is what makes it easier for me
Try the ams version of thunder valley, it's a lot easier for people who aren't pro. I usually don't really like them, but the ams version of thunder valley is really fun
It gives a more realistic experience than if you put 1 to 1 ruts and bumps because these bikes are just too good for that. So its not the ruts or scaling thats realistic but its how the track makes you ride that is.

Honestly Troy im not a fan of this years tracks at all,that being said im only 600 hours in and not pro.
