"Your pain is either going to be your platform or your prison." I had never heard that before.
I love how Anne said after having found out her brother had passed away she felt the peace that passes human understanding. I've been there too. That's exactly how I describe the peace of God that surrounded me immediately after losing our 14 year old in April 2017. God is good!!!
Brokenness makes room for God to release his strength through our weakness in order to accomplish his plans 🫶🏻

It was such a beautiful testimony of what God can do even with tragedy. It was such a good reminder that no matter what, we need to trust Him.He will never fail us even if the difficult moments we endured or are enduring right no we do not understand what He is doing. But He is always working and He sees you!

My Jesus is a song my kids sing regularly. It’s become an anthem in the wake of losing our two sons three months apart. The lyrics are so powerful.

What about people who trust God so much but then still end up either losing a loved one or going through something awful themselves?? One of my close friends lost his dad and trusting God doesn't always mean everything will go smoothly or that His blessing will be material. I myself have been through a lot, still facing chronic illness, and I've grown so much in my faith. I still struggle at times, but I haven't always fully trusted God and neither has anyone else I know. We always until the day we die grow in faith.
