I mean the crowd and atmosphere is hands down the best we've EVER seen in a basketball game.. but the drives, layups, awkward dribbling, and ANYTHING inside is a deal breaker for me. I LOVE everything else the game has to offer.. modes, play wheel, play diagrams, shootings solid, shoes, foot planting, pro am, face scan, off ball movement etc is all GREAT GREAT, but what good is it if the gameplay is clunky and scoring is this UGLY? I honestly am pretty pissed I have to deal with 2ks bullshit all year because Lives gonna fall just short of a complete game

The only good mode they have is live pro am and online quick game and the player models compared to 2k (not biased) aren't all that pretty they all look toned but skinny. And the shoes aren't even updated like lebron doesn't wear lebron 11 anymore
+bruce stark ah just played the demo. I was real hyped for live and almost pre ordered. can't do it. I appreciate the work put into the game but the animations are just unbearable. weight to players and ball is a huge issue too. too awkward and herky jerky I am actually shocked how ppl were raving about the fluidity and smoothness. it needs A LOT of work still

What I've always liked about LIVE tho is the color temp of its games. the courts,jerseys,shoes etc looks really good on this game and the shooting is nice looking too. I'm going to get this game no doubt.

The detail and graphics of the 2K crowd is way better. Also, there are much more different animations on the 2K crowd. Live feels like everyone is doing the same thing which looks retarded. And who cares if the crowd is louder? I can turn up my volume if I have to lol
NBA Live presentation is always on point. I wished they graphics and game play was better then 2k. Then I won't have to deal with 2k BS.

Live 16 has potential and has some really good moments. But because of some broken modes and some glaring gameplay issues, it's just not there yet. It's too bad EA hasn't addressed any of the major issues. NBA Rewind or big moments hasn't worked since launch. Late game AI issues and same glaring issues from 14 and 15 basically.

Comparing this game to 2k, 2k really emphasized the gameplay and EA emphasized the atmosphere/ presentation. The atmosphere feels real with the ambient talking in the background and the stadium music sounding realistic unlike 2k. But 2k has far more superior gameplay and smoother animations. A huge part in a sports game.

I think NBA Live needs a lot work. NBA 2k16 has the presentation, the defense, the crowd looks great in 2k and player animation is not as bad as this. Plus the commentary is horrible in this game. I had to mute my laptop it is so bad. Not once did I ever turn down the 2k16. EA seems not to know how to do a NBA game. Sad since I use to play Live games as a kid.

live has not changed the shooting animation and dribbling animation in like 10 years. graphics dont count when the gameplay is garbage.
the player movements still looks so unnatural & robotic. need more fluidity. when ea improves that then watch out 2k
honestly I'm a live and 2k fan but I prefer to play 2k more but all seriousness is this ps2? cause the gameplay looks to easy that's always been live problem it's to easy to score and 2k is to hard to score on hall of fame until you get adjusted to it my opinion EA just needs to stop making basketball games and focus more on other sports cause this is getting ridiculous and this is coming from a live and 2k fan

This game has potential but the gameplay is so bad ,just look at Waiters dunk 0:59 it speeds up for a second and and Lebrons shot at 1:12 looks so unnatural ,thats only from watching 2 min of the game ,the passes are also unrealistic,they should focus more on the gameplay more the graphics are really good

There are waay too many indications on the court, numbers, lines, red lights, arrows, what's up with all that? It makes the game unreal.

Jesus NBA live looks horrible compared to 2K. EA might as well keep up with FIFA and NHL cause 2K pretty much got NBA wrapped up and they would have NFL on lock if they had the rights cause even EA keeps making the same Madden every year with slight details to improve it and that's about it.

live is overall terrible compared to 2k everyone shoots the same while on the move and they still have everyone sharing the same freethrow routines and shots. not to mention its too easy to score and the CPU clearly doesn't have any IQ because as the shot clock went down shumpert and lebron stood there holding the ball instead of figuring out how to score on the defender, plus shumpert haircut looks horrible and morrow doesn't wear a headband anymore.. in may other words there no comparison on which is better out of 2k and live
People dont't even need to download it at all coz it's the same crap like nba live 15. I don't know what the issues about sport games but i think it's time to burry all the sport games since nothing new is happening. Those who develop the games, well its ps4 console and we have bigger expectations than that. I think its time to change all of these consoles and make a better console and a game that look exactly like the real life
