    Keith’s arthritis really shines here!

      He's playing better than in 2017 or 2018 when I also saw them live...tbh his arthritis has been considerably better since he stopped drinking hard liquor and chain-smoking, his fingers looked WAY worse 10 years ago, they already improved in 2022 but even more now...I'd really urge everyone to go see them live instead of judging based on a YT video because Keith has been doing great, he hasn't fucked up any solo in a while like he did some years back during almost every show mainly due to being drunk...also Ronnie is incredible this tour, total improvement to 2022 where he seemed frail and tired (probably still due to having to do chemo in 2020/21)

      @@lala9498 I concur. I've seen them twice this tour-- they're on fire. They all sound really great right now. Steve Jordan is a badass holding down the fort. Atlanta then Chicago night 2.

    Love them but Keith hasn't played a good solo in over 25 years, and they won't let Ron do one.

      Ridiculous comment, shows you haven't been to a show in a while, Ronnie has been playing incredible solos for WWW, MiU and also YCAGWYW this tour, also Keith has done amazingly well on almost all of his solos so far this tour

      @@vincenzostr4488 he was literally 30 years younger back then...but nowadays he is playing better than he did in the mid-2000s and early 2010s cause he isn't drunk 24/7 anymore, this really helps with his arthritis as well and not chain-smoking anymore...he played amazing in 2022, his solos back then in Slipping Away left me standing there in awe, especially in Vienna, and he is even playing better this tour, he hasn't fucked up the intro to Gimme Shelter a single time since he is sitting down for it, it really helps his playing, I like that he has learned prioritising the quality of his playing over looking cool while doing so

      Keith has never been a virtuoso like Mick Taylor, he's always been the riff master...but I think he's been doing amazing so far this tour, barely any bum notes...it's a pity tho they won't play Driving Me Too Hard, he could get a sweet solo out of that and let the guitar sing similarly to how he does on Slipping Away...

    • @TheBearBiffo
      @TheBearBiffo Před měsícem +1

      Yes, its a shadow of the fabulous original solo which I think is too tough for those arthritic fingers now but just passable. He still rules the riffs though and Ronnie is much better than I remember. The overall show I just saw in Orlando may be the best show I've ever seen them do. The sound was crystal perfect, all the musicians and backing singers killed it, and Jagger is simply beyond explanation. As energetic as could be and singing live better than ever.

      Sad, but Keef barely can play the guitar any longer but Ronnie is still pretty good thank God, and is the man.

      @@vidarlarsen748 go to a show yourself before judging, if you saw them live I don't think you'd find anything sad about it. It's an absolute joy to watch them play and see how much fun they're having doing what they love, both Keith and Ronnie are playing WAY better than they did in 2017 or 2018. Earlier I even read a comment by a guy who last saw them in 1994 and said they were playing better than 30 years ago which is utterly astounding...there are no words for those guys live, the only ones talking trash are those who haven't seen this absolute spectacle with their own eyes and I'd strongly recommend it to anyone to catch a show while we still can see them live because they're still the greatest live band in the world. Bands 30-40 years their junior have nothing on them, only realised so again when watching a livestream of Green Day at Rock am Ring last night
