Once I played with a woman who yelled and laughed in the mic, was visibly drunk, made the most sound she could and only wielded melee weapons. We won every fight and I had a blast. Sometimes randoms are wonderful.
There're people who say that "all play-styles are valid" and "there's no wrong way to play a game".
And here's this guy, proving them wrong.
I usually have 4 types of players. 1 Thee people that instantly extract after one fight or one dead team mate. 2 The bozos that mess around for the laughs. 3 the try hards/always push. 4 the moment I die, team crouches and sits in bushes and corners holding the same angle for 10 minutes. I feel the pain :D
me and my crew are number 2...after 3k hours we've stopped giving even the smallest of effs
You forgot the randoms that just afk at spawn, and the randoms that just run around farming their weekly challenges and PvE for the entire game without doing anything useful.
And the randoms that disconnects literally the moment a rifle downs them 😅
And then there is the rare teammate that is actually good at being a teammate, he may not be the best player but he is loyal and won’t leave.
Those try hards, why push when you can sit in a bush for 45 min
The degenerates of hunt is the series I need because I am very well have a high chance to see people I met in game and myself included in these videos :)

That's what really gets me lol. Like, he waited until he was on an upswing to leave? Land another shot, and its a 1 v 2. Lightly saute a dynamite stick and it's a 1 v 1. Little bit of luck, a dash of confidence and he'd be home free. Truly baffling stuff

I wasn’t really mad at the guy during most of the game, because he simply wasn’t good and that’s not something I can really dislike someone for…
but when the guy left mid-fight to preserve their stats - that’s frustrating.
That was some shit. BUT it explains his playstyle perfectly. He's just out here for KD

@@CyberGenesis1 Players like that are exactly why KD stats just need to be removed from the game. They do nothing for gameplay except encourage people to play around it.

Wow just wow. When I started watching this video I thought I knew exactly what kind of player this was about but damn was I wrong. This might actually be the worst hunt teammate I have ever seen.

You should've shown that player's stats. Sometimes it's Crytek to blame in this situation. When they widened the MMR brackets 3 stars or low 4 stars started to get mixed in the same lobbies as 5 and 6 stars, and that's obviously not ideal. Last time I played randoms I hoovered around 2850 MMR and got one partner who was a 3 stars with 0.89 KD and less than 500 kills. Needless to say, neither of us had a positive experience.
3-4 are not that bad I've seen a lot good 3 stars. But 2 stars are a pure trash, I think they are kids mostly
He did an ocular assessment of the situation, garnered that he was not a security risk and he cleared that enemy team for passage.
My only rule when playing with randoms is they have to have choke bombs. It's a good tell if they want to play as a team or individually.
Sometimes I bring chokebombs as a solo. Won me a game yesterday. Choked the chokepoint while in a bad spot and made our grounds with enemy even!
This is the kind of trash I usually get queued up with, or the won't listen at all, runs around making a lot of noise just to run directly at me with their new obtained baggage(hunters). Either die before me or leave me to fight teams of trios, so they can start removing their lower ribs in a bush somewhere. Which at that point I'm gone, because it's been so and I mean SO RARE where they'll clutch and I didn't just waste 10 to 20 mins of my life.
Sad to say, but I have seen worse.

Sorry to disappoint you Olive. US West tends to have a lot of these types of players.
It's always the stealthy boys that play like that. They rely on taking shots at unaware players then run away as soon as there's any conflict. It's a very easy, low skill way of playing the game, which I think takes away the point of playing all together. I don't understand how people enjoy that.

That was great as a frequent random this video had me laughing.
Chinese players do this a lot, go on their own , doing their thing on another side of the map. Oblivious to the game team-play mechanics :)) It's like watching some bad AI, no way a human is behind that character. You could think they are farming money or something but that can't be it, money are almost pointless in this game and you can't trade :))
I think that guy was k/d farming. As soon there is a chance to die (= loose k/d) - he quits
solo queue is somekind of 10th level of hell, we are first to the boss while this random shoots another group coming to the compound, I go out to help and he starts spam pinging for me to finish the boss, I do that and the dude actually runs away using me killing the boss as bait I shit you not
Crytek needs to implement a system that gives players like this a title of Coward/Yellow-belly.
I can't believe that guy left. That's worse than any level of concertina castle camping I've ever seen in the bayou. What an absolute coward. I thought he was just new and lacked confidence, which is understandable, but his own ancestors rolled in their grave when he did what he did. I would disown my own son if I saw him do that.
This is like 70% of randoms I seem to matchmake with. Funny though.

After playing this game for several thousand hours I can attest that playing with 3 star randoms will suck your will to live and you'll either choose to play solo or find a group of friends at your skill level to play with.
Now i see, it's the same guy under different nicknames in 9/10 times I queue with randoms! Mystery about awful teammates has been solved!

LMAO!! I had such joy watching this vid and glad Its just not me ! I fought 3 hunters 3 days ago for 3 mins ... tagging them running around different points of cover...eventually taking 2 of them out ...All while spamming Red indication marker...and also running by them yelling at them to push the final player... Nothing hid in 2 different houses watching me fight ..intell me and him traded shots but I died and he barley was alive with bleed....He rez his teamates .. and then they pushed and died instantly.....Sigh just relived that entire scenario while wrighting thing :( XD

I queue up with one of these jackasses at least once every play sesh and it makes me want to rip my hair out 😂 I always bail within the first minute of watching their POV
EDIT: Okay I'm pretty sure I actually got matched with this guy in a trios game. He was doing literally the exact same thing; hanging out in random-ass corners of the compound and scoping in at nothing. I could feel the blood beginning to clot in my temple.
and these jackasses are omnipresent in Asia servers for some reason. They would camp a bush, build a house there, raise a family of three and act like if they step out in the open, they would vaporise instantly.
We've found the end boss... Is this a new species? Like I used to laugh at the people that ran in, insta die then rage quit before I solo the trio he died to and walk out with both bounties with the third teammate who didn't rage but this guy is a whole new level of malicious gameplay.
On another note using the discord to join random people has been good to me. Highly suggest it.

They did stick close to the bounty, they may have been trying to get a totem and get you up. They just did it in the most botched way possible.
Nah. Players like that just pick up the bounty and run away straight to extraction. And I know that because I've seen it happen. I haven't played with randoms since 😅
Look like the average AFK jungler in league to me. Walk around, do fuck all, and leave the game when your team died because they were 1 man short.
My theory is that people are just that scared of the game they end up playing like him... yet they play the game still tf. It doesn't make any sense still but its the only explanation I could come up with. My solution is go play Alien Isolation and Prey you will be locked in.
Randoms get me salty as hell too. It's all I play because the hunt discord is just a louder random Q with extra steps.

I had three days straight of players mostly like this. I have taken a break from the game. To recover from player's like this repeatedly day after day.
Makes me sad because this is my favorite game one of the worst mentality player base in average.
I just pray i get a couple of good teammates a day now.

They owe it to themselves. I can't imagine this to be fun for anybody.
Also, if they simply stayed with the team, they would've been able to engage in a fight at an advantage, revive or get revived, and quite possibly win.

This sort of shit is literally all I fucking get when I play with randoms which is why I prefer solo Necromancer because at least I can take it into my own fucking hands even if Necromancer in the majority of situations is so comically weak.....

That is sadly one of the reasons i stopped playing hunt. people that play like solos but cue in trios or duos. only keeping to the team as long as we win / not die. but i have to say i was impressed that he not extraced right away.
Tolerate one random trios then go necro magpie conduit. My mental health has been better because of it

I used to play really aggressively in hunt. Then i got some weird technical issue where i had like 300ms of input lag for no apparent reason. Thanks to that, it was very difficult to play the game reactively, so i ended up relying a lot more on stealth and fighting at long range. I can't tell you how demoralizing it is to feel like you're playing at 50% of your potential constantly.

Out of pure curiosity, do you just enjoy playing randoms? I have a group of about 5 friends that will be down to play trios and the fights are great. The randoms I've tried were terrible.
Yeah I really do! I'd say it's 95% a great time. It's just that last 5% really does mess you up sometimes :D
You need a little bit of luck. But I met some really funny and nice people with playing randoms.

or they just want high kd. they farm their team and when the enemy try to loot you headshot the enemy. and when the enemy fight back you dc. which in turn saves your KD because the only Death that counts is to another player.@@bluebird2540

I think this is just a product of the game design. When I first bought Hunt, I took it as a horror game and I was meant to make absolute 0 noise and bosses were a HUGE threat. After losing a few games I started watching PsychoGhost/Hornet play and it was entirely different, I had to learn about pushing and even bullet drop off and other details about the game when I thought I just had to be sneaky. I don't even think Hunt had practice mode for target dummies back then. Anyway, the game itself has a lot of flaws but there's nothing like it. Cheers, Olive

I found this mad funny personally, because this accurately depicts what randoms have felt like every time I've tried. It's premade team or solos for me, I don't think I can bring myself to queue randoms ever again

Nah man, the worst teammate to exist in Hunt: Showdown ever was one i "played" with. I wanted to play with randoms and just when the "Let's Hunt" words pop out on the screen, he attacked me and kill me with an axe and then teabagged me, i was pretty lucky that another team came and kill him as well just after that moment.
when i asked the guy (it was console Hunt) why the hell did he do that, he said he did it for "Fun".
Then i told him to chill, that i understood everything he felt and he could speak to me and then he said "No you don't, i do not have any friends and have a lot of mental illneses" and i do not remember anything else... it was weird.
Oh jesus christ. Ove had a few people like that and its so painful. I get a lot of people who rush in and die straight away and then they rage quit and message me when i try to rotate because i cant instantly kill 2 gull teams on my own and res them. Unfortunately im on ps5 and playing solo very often ends up with empty or very quiet servers too so if my friend isnt around i have to play with randoms...
