What a fantastic doctor... it would be easy to talk to him about your condition.

i hope the cost will not ruin my retirement money . i would like the money i saved since i was 18 years old to go to my family . if not i don't know what to do. i do have insurance but who knows what that will cover. still on watch and wait.

If you're in the US, Medicare and I pretty sure all major insurance programs cover the most common BTK and BCL-2 inhibitor drugs. Typical out of pocket cost seems to be around $500 - $600 per month. There are probably some financial hardship programs which may lower the cost further. If you are uninsured, these drugs can cost ~$5,000 per month - but financial hardship programs may be available. Most decent cancer centers should have a financial counselor to assist you.

My husband got really ill 2 years ago.. He lost 30 lbs with muscle wasting fatigue brain fog, night sweats and headache..blood work showed signs but nobody tested for CLL yet....he felt like something was eating him alive...well in desperate attempt to feel better he made changes...diet supplements ect... Well finally a year n half later he has started feeling better at the same time he was diagnosed with CLL and told his markers don't corelate with symptoms......Question is...could he have put his CLL in remission himself ???

Wow. These scientists are brilliant. And you are going to lecture them making foolish statements.
